I just wanted to say, thank you for taking your time with these models. I hate Crash of the Titans' redesigns.
But quick question. When you're done ripping the models, is there any ways for you to rip the maps too?
Like, N. Sanity Island, Neo Cortex's Iceberg Lab, and Twinsanity Island?
It would be awesome to rip the maps, but it would be near impossible to achieve as the parts of the map you don't see are not rendered and wont rip, so most of the parts of the map would have giant holes in them.
Although i will give it a try when i can! (:
we won't taking cracked into the files for landscape models all days, we just simply using 3d ripper program to get the characters only.

Not for a while yet, theres still alot to be ported.
EDIT! Added images of all the models i've done so far! :D
Considering this thread kinda died and guessing the guy originally doing this gave up, I had a go at ripping some models from twinsanity with the original textures (which was a pain as the UVs were completely screwed up).
Heres the models i've currently got:

Also, as i said above, the texture mapping isn't great but I tried my best to re-create what the characters look in-game.
Anyways let me know what you think.
If anyone who is actually willing to rig/port these models, message me for a download link as i dont want to post it publicly.
Hi Guy. I liked these models and i’d like to rip them from the game. Can you explain me how do you ripped them? (Sorry by the bad english, i'm not from here)

Hi there man, glad you like the rips! :D
I ripped these from the PS2 version of Crash Twinsanity using the PS2 Emulator PCSX2 (You HAVE to own a PS2 console to legally use this though). After i got the models I used TexMod to rip the textures.
Not really good at explaining the whole process, so just search around a bit. Google is your friend.
Good Luck (:

What did you do to get the 3d models? You didn't say the program you used for that.

old versions of pcsx2 had an option to rip models
ah, ok.also I took a look and I think the problems with ripping form PS2 games should be more tollerable than ripping from Dreamcast games.
Wow been awhile since I've been on here... And I have to say great job guys! I'm really looking forward to having these when they are done. :) Totally worth waiting for :)
sure. ill send it to you sometime tonite or tomorrow.
No news yet that i'm aware of. you would have to ask Thelombax51 as they are porting the models, i only ripped them.

That's looking awesome, good job! :D
I dunno if it helps but a while ago when I was looking in the Crash Bandicoot Unlimited prototype/demo, in the iceberg lair Cortex was in a T-pose (probably because it was a prototype and he wasn't given any animations? whatever)
I ripped him in this pose but I textured him really badly because his UV's were all misplaced for some reason in the .obj. They weren't just huge but they were placed in completely different locations than the actual texture. I don't have the model anymore.
If you want an actual natural t-posed cortex, there's one in the prototype. I don't remember the number of the CD it was on, I think it was on the official playstation magazine somewhere in the 50's-60's.
