the shader in the vmt is set up wrong once again, use the pupil texture as the ambient and it should work example: "EyeRefract" { "$iris" "models/characters/vanille/nude/eye" "$AmbientOcclTexture" "models/characters/vanille/nude/pupil" // Ambient occlusion in RGB, A unused "$Envmap" "Engine/eye-reflection-cubemap-" // Reflection environment map "$CorneaTexture" "Engine/eye-cornea" // Special texture that has 2D cornea normal in RG and other data in BA "$EyeballRadius" "0.5"// Default 0.5 "$AmbientOcclColor" "[0.25 0.25 0.25]"// Default 0.33, 0.33, 0.33 "$Dilation" "0.5"// Default 0.5 "$ParallaxStrength" "0.30" // Default 0.25 "$CorneaBumpStrength" "0.5"// Default 1.0 "$halflambert" "1" "$nodecal" "1" // These effects are only available in ps.2.0b and later "$RaytraceSphere" "0"// Default 1 - Enables raytracing in the pixel shader to make the eyeball look round "$SphereTexkillCombo" "0"// Default 1 - Enables killing pixels that don't ray-intersect the sphere } this made it work with the ep2 shader and make eyes pose
im not an expert but good job.
Dude, I had tested model with fixed eyes and it's very fine. Also, I had done with this artwork, but I'm gonna post formally in thread. Btw, thank you =)

is there a guide on how to get this model/skin to be dled to everyone in the server so i can use it?
How exactly do I add this to fix her eyes?
You can't. That was advice to the original model creator on how to fix certain problems. We're still missing a few files - without them, we can't get them fully working.
How exactly do I add this to fix her eyes?
First use this fix: http://www.sendspace.com/file/32ejvi Than replace the lefteye and righteye vmt with: "EyeRefract" { "$iris" "models/characters/vanille/nude/eye" "$AmbientOcclTexture" "models/characters/vanille/nude/pupil" // Ambient occlusion in RGB, A unused "$Envmap" "Engine/eye-reflection-cubemap-" // Reflection environment map "$CorneaTexture" "Engine/eye-cornea" // Special texture that has 2D cornea normal in RG and other data in BA "$EyeballRadius" "0.5"// Default 0.5 "$AmbientOcclColor" "[0.25 0.25 0.25]"// Default 0.33, 0.33, 0.33 "$Dilation" "0.5"// Default 0.5 "$ParallaxStrength" "0.30" // Default 0.25 "$CorneaBumpStrength" "0.5"// Default 1.0 "$halflambert" "1" "$nodecal" "1" // These effects are only available in ps.2.0b and later "$RaytraceSphere" "0"// Default 1 - Enables raytracing in the pixel shader to make the eyeball look round "$SphereTexkillCombo" "0"// Default 1 - Enables killing pixels that don't ray-intersect the sphere }
For all those who are not familiar with adding pose-able eyes feature, here it is: http://www.sendspace.com/file/vq4krv See install_fix.txt for more info.
You can't. That was advice to the original model creator on how to fix certain problems. We're still missing a few files - without them, we can't get them fully working.
Actually, the necessary files can be found inside the shared materials GCF for Source 2007. You can also link directly to them just like plasmid did with "engine/"
i promised i will release ff13 pack.but i didn't want to put this one in it. here's Vanille Naked [img_thumb]http://028.img98.net/out.php/i242596_gmconstruct0041.jpg[/img_thumb] http://www59.zippyshare.com/v/10855995/file.html including facepose, fingerpose, etc
The link isn't working I've tried it a few times, can you redo the link or provide another and maybe with the eyes fixed.
I'm hoping that a future re-release will have better faceposing...this one can't even close its eyes!
can you give me some little gooder texture? it looks like she look 999 years old
Any update on the next pack?
999 years old
because she is...? or something like that
Any news on this?
Any news on this?
Why? This finished model! This is not a WIP Thread. It is a RELEASE!
Really needs to be fixed. The fixed eye posing, i mean.
I already posted the fixed vmts, really anyone has to do is take my code and put it in both eye vmts but change it to its the right names and paths
Really needs to be fixed. The fixed eye posing, i mean.
read the thread and youll find your answer.
Could someone please tell me how to open the file (first post). I know it's a 3D thing but what do I use to open it?
