You have to copy the scripts/sounds folder to your regular gmod directory. I put a readme in the addon check it next time please. Saves me the trouble of thinking something is wrong when it's not.
I mean fix the decals. Sorry bout dat mashup.
Also, how do you reskin? I've tried, and failed many times. What have I done wrong?
I copied both the smallspecmaps freom the fire truck into the ambulance folder, changed the second smallspecmap to green, and changed the directory of the said textures in the meatwagons .vmt for both 1 and 2 smallspecmaps, and it still wont work. Any help?
Also, also, any chance on porting the police patrol? If so, you would be MY GOD. Presidente too plz? :3

Do you use 3ds Max to make the skeleton?
The Vanquish model is stuffed up, if you see the model and a driver goes a long way away and comes back, the car will be invisible? for somereason.

Try to lose some weight.
I keep experiencing a bug where the sound of a vehicle keeps playing after I remove it, and then any vehicle I spawn afterwards also has that sound playing on it. This is very annoying because it will continuously play a very loud noise even while the car is parked. This is in singleplayer, and I have moved the script file into the correct directory, and sounds work fine otherwise.
Can anyone help?

I can't seem to recreate this so I am not sure what to tell you. I will let you know if I figure something out.

As a temporary fix use the 'stopsounds' command after you remove the vehicle, that should stop it looping.
As a permanent fix Sgt.Sgt needs to remove the loop from the stop sound for that particular car, i've done this to my version of the file after I downloaded it and that cleared up the problem for me.
Ok, all I know is that this problem didn't exist about 6 months ago when I last used these cars. I would very much appreciate it if this could be fixed, if it is indeed caused by "looping stop sounds". Also the sound of the engine just starts looping for no reason, even though I never exited the car.
Why are you making the new cars without black color? Black is one of the most attractive car colors and I'm disappointed the closest color is a dark purple.
Also, why is the GTA4 Buffalo under "Emergency Vehicles"?
If I remember, it's an undercover cop-car in GTA IV.
I have that sound problem too, though it only happens at one car, not all of them.

I don't know what's up, but in addition to the sound problems, there are some other problems. Many vehicles, such as the Lokus, have no turbo sound, and instead it just goes eerily silent. The driver seat for the PMP600 always is halfway outside the car, oddly. For some reason I don't remember these bugs when I used this pack about half a year ago.
I don't know what caused these issues, but I definitely didn't have these when I used this pack half a year ago, but all the cars have very obvious issues with the noise, that are difficult to reproduce reliably but very annoying. Just play around with the Sultan, it's extremely obvious with its loud engine noise.
I don't know what is causing all these things to break, but I hope they can be fixed because this vehicle pack used to be flawless.

Lots of my friends have problems with GM lately, especially with some content not working any more or having trouble with sounds, it's due to all the new Garry's Mod updates, one thing is fixed tons of other things go majorly fucked up...
Sickness, ignore what I said earlier, that issue was apparently only happening in my singleplayer. Now here's what's happening on multiplayer that I'm positive you can fix. Both the Romero and the Sultan have looping exit sounds.(might be others too) Just get in, get out, and you should hear it looping. I believe that is what Master Chris was referring to. Thanks.

I am in game testing right now and I cannot get this reproduced even with the video. All of my sounds stop every time I exit a vehicle.

Yes, nice video showing the problem.
Outstanding bug list:
- Sultan has a looping engine shut off sound
- PMP 600 driver is halfway out the door
- Standard black looks much better than the carbon fiber violet color. Please make standard black an option again.

Well I have the problem with the Sultan in both singleplayer and multiplayer, so maybe you made a change you haven't committed to SVN yet, or something else.
I will continue to try to figure out exactly why it happens. I will also readd the black color.
out of curiosity, has the transition to VCMod been finalized or not?

Thank you Sgt, I'm glad you didn't take it the wrong way but I really did prefer the black.
Some pictures showing the problem:

In regards to VCMod, it seems so far that the Blista seems to be the only fully equipped car (with headlights, brake lights) but several other cars have just lights and exhaust, no headlights.
It isn't that hard to set up a car for VCMod, just go to the lua/autorun file that lists the cars, and add positions for VC_Lights, VC_Extraseats, Headlights. It isn't hard, but it is really tedious if you do it by trial and error.
I'm not sure what the more practical method is for finding positions? Maybe external model editor to find the positions? What do you use Sgt?
Whenever you have time, I suggest you check out some of these amazing models, and they have the same format as default GTA IV cars so it should be possible:

http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/ford-mustang-fastback-302did-cruise-o-matic-f8610 (has a lot extras, don't know how you deal with those)

http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/jaguar-xfr-f5766
Edit: On second thought, I'm wondering if Source engine can handle such hi-poly models? I've never seen a prop as detailed as the interior of that Audi R8
Can you rip a nicer version of the stallion gt? the steering wheel looks iffy.

Exactly, I would be livid if someone used my Dodge Charger without my permission but I wouldn't mind if they asked beforehand. It's basic Netiquette.
the reason i asked about vcmod is because i don't want vumod to conflict with vcmod in MC's pack
the reason i asked about vcmod is because i don't want vumod to conflict with vcmod in MC's pack
I removed any files of VU mod from this pack to prevent that issue. I haven't yet completed my conversion as I really have no free time anymore where I have enough energy to do anything. Mapping and modeling has moved to the back burner unfortunately I have no idea when or if ever I will finish fixing the pack. If someone would like to add the seats and lights to the rest of the vehicles that knows how and has time feel free. If you send me the spawn files I will add them to the SVN. Same thing if you all make better scripts for the cars as I know some of them are quite lame. I made so many cars so fast that I did not have a lot of time to tune the scripts right.

Something in the audio file determines whether it loops or not. I forget what it was called. The problem is most likely one being put in the wrong place or the wrong file.

GTA vehicles (and any vehicle that uses a sound from GTA) don't have a relevant turbo sound because there isn't a turbo boost in GTA. The PMP600 has always had that problem especially in multiplayer.
