Are you sure you're not talking about eflc?
Are you sure you're not talking about eflc?
Nope, boost is available on both versions of the game.
Something in the audio file determines whether it loops or not. I forget what it was called. The problem is most likely one being put in the wrong place or the wrong file.

Man, I am not active on this thread, at all.
out of curiosity, has the transition to VCMod been finalized or not?
Well, it currently does fully work, supports transitioning between skins/colours/bgroups/poseparams, but it still needs a few buttons created in its control menu, like randomized colour, next/previous/default buttons instead of just next and such, shouldn't take too long. Also will have to rework a great portion of its code when or if I add the muti-model vehicles feature, or a few other features that aren't announced yet, to include the other things attached to the vehicle to transition aswel.
I removed any files of VU mod from this pack to prevent that issue. I haven't yet completed my conversion as I really have no free time anymore where I have enough energy to do anything. Mapping and modeling has moved to the back burner unfortunately I have no idea when or if ever I will finish fixing the pack. If someone would like to add the seats and lights to the rest of the vehicles that knows how and has time feel free. If you send me the spawn files I will add them to the SVN. Same thing if you all make better scripts for the cars as I know some of them are quite lame. I made so many cars so fast that I did not have a lot of time to tune the scripts right.
For the fact that's its a huge pain to write the handling scripts, I have created the realtime handling editor, which is fully done, that should either make your scripts easier to do therefor, better quality handling, or atleast shorter your work time.
Plus in the end I will create a few other tools. Such as the VCMod features editor, which will allow you to edit every single VCMod feature on a vehicle real time. Along with that I am planning on adding another tool, a positioning/angling/scaling/even sound tree selection tool that you could just copy the settings from there into other tools. And ofcourse the regular vehicle creator, which will let you chose the default settings, model, script, etc.
In the end, all you'll have to do, is spawn a car (either from a menu or from the tool), enter it, apply some realtime options in the editor, press save. All the vehicles code will be in data/VehController/Vehicles, all you'll have to do is place the script in lua/autorun folder and rename the script from .txt to .lua.
Should ease the process.

Sounds awesome. Vehicle script is very much so a bitch.
Sounds awesome. Done, your vehicle now does a wheely on acceleration. :P
I am found a site with gta4's vehicle's characteristics, they can be imported into appropriate scripts in this pack. http://www.gta4.net/vehicles/
I've got a problem. I installed this addon on both my server and on my garrysmod, but it won't show up in the vehicles tab when I'm on my server.

Nope. But it's running OpenAura if it means anything.
Nope. But it's running OpenAura if it means anything.
No idea then, might be a confliction with another add-on.
I got Master Chris and Sgt. Sickness installed but I cannot use the police lights and the siren on emergency vehicles, only on Ambulance with R key. Only car mods I have installed, too, are SCars and all the TDM Cars, deinstalling them doesn't help it. I would really appreciate your help.
There are no police lights on my cars by default. Some servers running gamemodes like perp added them. It's specific to that gamemode not the pack itself.
Thought I'd bump the thread with a request: would it be possible to port the Rhapsody from TLaD?
Vehicle sounds on a server don't work, the scripts directory is installed correctly, any help?
It should be installed on client

Whenever I can find time between work to do it. Every day I lose more and more free time. So hopefully sometime in the next few months I can release at least one piece of equipment.

Just wanted to chime in real quick and let you guys know I released a small update to the svn. This is mainly a bug fix, thanks to kfrohman for fixing the sound problems. I also updated the interior of the dry van trailer. This pack is still alive it's just getting updated really slowly. I am still fixing the black texture on all the cars that was requested. Yes I am slow I know.
I downloaded the SVN,but i can't find some vehicles, not even by browsing. Maybe i shall update my svn?
Did you put the svn in addons like you are supposed to? Also they are in the vehicles tab not models tab...
Did you put the svn in addons like you are supposed to? Also they are in the vehicles tab not models tab...
Yes i did,i made a folder called "Sicknessmodel!",ran the SVN,put the folder in addons,i checked, the vehicles are in the vehicles tab, althrough i can't find some (cod4 bus, hearse) unless they are BODYGROUPS.
No they aren't bodygroups, they are in separate categories in the vehicle tab though. Make sure they are all open. You can open and close vehicle lists so some may not be open.
How do i download it? im not familiar with SVN. please help!
Just not to recursively resource.AddFile everything, is there a list of which cars use which materials?
Just not to recursively resource.AddFile everything, is there a list of which cars use which materials?
Never made one. Most depend on generics in the main and whatever is in a folder corresponding to the cars name.
Also updated the svn again. Tried to make the black textures more black. Tell me what you think. I did it only on the ones with the blueish tint problem.
Fucking beast
