Do i move the sounds to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Myname\garrysmod\garrysmod\sound? Because when ever i get ingame i have no sounds and i dont have lights either and i threw the scripts were they needed to be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, it's to do with a change to the addon system which Garry did to help cut down on load times I think. All sounds need to be moved out of the addon folder and into the main garrys mod folders.

Add me on steam if you can and i'll give you the team-viewer info?
Did you also make sure to copy the soundscripts as well?
yep... still having sound issues and some lights on vehicles are't working... Also I'm new to gmod but I've been wanting the game for bit now... I'm still learning how to mod some of the folders, but i'm very good at modding peoples minecraft :P (i bought the game so no haxs)
Whats the map on the second screenshot on the first post?
Evocity 2
could you upload this anywhere without svn? my pc wont work with svn (i dunno why but explorer crashes at every right click)
Where can I get the Skin Tool / Skin Skinswitcher tool? I'm sorry for this, but I searched everywhere and still couldn't find it. I'm not lazy and didn't want to search for it and just saying this, I actually searched in a lot of places. [Google, Garrysmod.org].
Will there be any chance of, in the distant future, an implementation of Freemmaann and Inaki's car flex damage system on the GTA vehicles? Do they even have pre-set damage flexes?
The script will be a part of VCMod and anyone who wants to adapt their vehicles to use it will be able to do so. If Sgt wants to, then it'll get done. Chances are it won't happen.

There are plenty of gmod vehicle developers who told me they are going to use the damage system (and possibly the flex extension of it), including TDM, Inaki and some starting out devs which I've feature some of their cars in my videos, unfortunetely I think sickness is more into mapping that vehicle development, so doubt these vehicles here will see much implementation.

GTA cars deform dynamically, collision included. It's not a flex system. Source wasn't designed with extensive use of vehicles in mind, so applying flexes is the only way to replicate a visual deformation system, but it can't affect collision in vphysics. However, over in the GM13 beta forums they've been experimenting with replacing vphysics with several other physics engines, one of which does support dynamic deformation and vertex collision. Anything's possible at this point; Gmod is its own Source branch now.

I've been watching that thread for a bit. hoping we could see something like euphoria implemented into gmod for better car physics.

It has nothing to do with the physics engine.
Euphoria is so great. Crash at 20mph, fly 50 meters.
Hey all. I just downloaded and installed this mod today after stumbling upon it while looking for vehicle packs. I have been playing Gmod for a while and have been using MasterChris's truck pack. They seem to work fine, as does this mod, save for one problem. I am getting game crashes whenever I am turning and using the handbrake. I've replicated this scenario with several different types of vehicles and I can't figure out what in god's name is going on here. As I said, these cars, trucks, vans, et cetera, seem to drive just fine otherwise, but upon using the handbrake (and I believe I have to be turning at the same time) the game crashes and says the typical garrysmod.exe has blah blah blah. Is it possibly an issue with my graphics card? But this seems unlikely due to the fact that using the handbrake has no bearing on graphics... I'm not sure what's going on here, could anyone give me a pointer or two? I'll be watching this thread for replies if any of you need any extra info. (Yes, I actually bought garry's mod, not pirated it, and my computer is not all that slow, it's at least average, so it's not that.) So yeah, thanks in advance for anything, yes I know I'm a noob here but I'll try my best not to act like one. EDIT: I've isolated it to JUST the handbrake. Steering is not a factor. But when I am riding inside of one of the vehicles in this pack, and I use the handbrake, the game crashes. Uhhh?

I got the same problem only in gm13 I can't seem to fix it. It is related to custom surfaceproperties. I made a thread about it and it was ignored so I said fuck it.
No sir, I only have whatever the public release is.. I don't know what it is.. So you're even having the same issues? That's unfortunate. I wouldn't even know where to start to wrap my head around this.
I actually used to get that too, but one day it just stopped happening.

It IS related to surfaceproperties. It crashes in vphysics. If you alter the vehicle script to use the default surfaceproperties for like jeeptire it won't crash anymore. However I really don't want to do that. The custom surfaceproperties on the cars hold them to the road better than the jeeptire does. I will figure something out eventually. Yes my updates and bugfixes run on valve time so to speak. Sorry.

Regardless, I've downed all your vehicles and every single one is absolutely gorgeous, especially with the ability for skinning on most of them, so I'd like to say thanks to the respective people involved. Actually, I'm sort of kind of working on an Evocity savegame that I'll probably years from now finish. I'm setting it up with props and vehicles and maybe release it (obviously with credit where it is due) to use on servers, though I'm 99% sure I'm in over my head, and it's already starting to lag, as I'm sure there are way WAY too many vehicles in-game, but I digress, this "project" is more a "what can my computer handle" than anything at the moment. But as for now, I'll just have to not use the handbrake. XD
How do I get the svn link to work on my mac? What do I need? Or is it just easer for me to use windows 7 home premium and if so then what do i need?
Sgt, any chance your planing on uploading some trailers compatible with MCs pack? I noticed your truck was compatible, but no trailers! IT would be awesome to have at least 1 trailer I can load stuff in, and maybe a flatbed..

Bleh, sorry...
can someone please explain to me how SVN works?
Google is your best friend.
Google is your best friend.
This is called being a twat for no reason. Don't do that. Dude42965, there are instructions included with tortoise SVN. Use them. Good day.
