Hey, this might not be the topic to ask this on, but since you were going to add your evocity_v2p files into your SicknessModels svn, I was wondering if there is a .lua for the soundscapes_rp_evocity? (or doens't it need one?) Also, there used to be more sounds in the soundscape, or am I incorrect about this? Anyway, I have also the following issues with the car pack (Note: my version is from before gmod 13 update, and I hope I don't have to update cause that might mess up the gamemode): - the driver can't see himself driving the vehicle (others can) in 3d mode, he is invisible for himself. - some cars are invisible also certain colors make them invisible. - few cars like Supra have some drifting issues, uncontrollable one's. i got a question. do these vehicles work with VU mod?
I want to use these cars for a roleplaying gamemode, but when I try to set prices depending on it's specs, I just realised that they are "balanced". If a car has good acceleration, another has worst acceleration but arrives to higher speeds. How I can set prices for these cars? (and no, Im not using DarkRP)

with the cop car and fire truck e.t.c can you turn on the sirens
No you can't turn on sirens or lights on cars. Also I just updated the svn for the first time in forever. I fixed the PMP600 smoothing issues and driver seating issues.
Does the ambulance and firetruck have sirens? If so what button?

Not all of the vehicles (last time I checked) are setup for VCMod, which hasn't been released to the public yet. The current version is available for a price. The "Diablo" seems to "float" over the road when driving which makes it uncontrollable at some points, is this a problem on my side or just a configuration mistake in the car pack, same for some missing sounds :(?

I will look into the sounds as well. Only ones I noticed were missing are for the bobcat. I may have forgot to add a file.
Well, well, well, I'm glad you're still working on these. These faded from my memory a while ago, and I thought this died or something. I'm very glad to see this works and is currently being developed. Also, upon looking earlier in the thread, I saw these epic construction vehicles you were working on (a crane and maybe something else). Do you plan to touch upon those again? Over the last 3 years, I'm sure you have run into something that would allow for you to be able to complete them. Thanks for a great pack so far!
Sickness, been trying to catch you online on steam the past couple of days but it's usually when I end up being asleep. Ah well. I got bored one night and decided to tackle a bugbear of mine ever since the pack was released - the lack of envmap/reflections on "grey" parts, wheels, and other metal pieces. I'm happy to report that after a bit of tinkering, I've succeeded. End result: [thumb]http://puu.sh/49oTZ.jpg[/thumb] I've also done some other tweaks as well, some of which you can see in the picture. 1. Added envmap/reflections on metalwork (the main task, look at the Yankees' grill and bumper) 2. Fixed up the cop car wheel texture so it looks more in line with how it is ingame, however you still need to fix the smoothing issues for the best effect. 3. Altered the firetrucks' wheel colour to a more vibrant red, doesn't show up pink anymore. 4. Fixed the reflections on the firetruck and cop car wheels, previously, the entire wheel was glossy due to lazy vmt editing. The only other change I made was to vehicle lights, I either adjusted the transparency of them or removed the transparency completely, as otherwise they just looked very bizarre. If you like it, I can send you the files some time for inclusion into the SVN. Your call. Curious to know what others think though. I should mention that whilst it would be nice to have reflections and shading similar to how GTA 4 handles it, I don't think it's possible with what we have right now. This is the best we can do at the minute. It's certainly an improvement, imo.
Can you put more muscle cars in the pack please. The ones in gta 4 a pretty cool. :)

Thought I'd chip in here, had a pretty lengthy talk with Sickness last night, I sent him the files and they should be included in the SVN at some point in future. Another piece of work I did along with the rest was adding envmaps to the wheels, the result of which you can see in the picture he posted above, and this goes across nearly all vehicles, the only exceptions would be the firetruck and police car, which have separate textures which I also adjusted, and possibly the emporer.
