It might take some time to have everything updated again, so patience is needed until it's updated once more.

[/QUOTE] It's an internet forum, dude; if you didn't want people to 'butt in' on the conversation, then you could have sent a PM or posted on the OP's profile (which it looks like you already did) instead of posting in the open where others could respond. Just as well, responding to every post that you see as people 'butting in' with a snarky attitude won't do anything but make you look like an ass and draw even more responses (either from the same people or others). Getting pissy about someone pointing out a simple fact and then someone else explaining it to you doesn't give you any right to dictate how others can post in an open area; if people decide to respond to your post when it's in a thread that everyone can see [I]and[/I] respond to, then it'll probably happen. Having a fit over it won't help anything, and will only draw even more attention. And on the subject of it not being anyone else's business, you'll need to know that a majority of users on this site don't like seeing dead threads (which are mainly threads that haven't been posted in for 1+ months, give or take some days) being bumped (which is the act of posting in an already-established thread) by random newcomers (in this case, yourself) on any part of the site. Most people will ignore it and simply report the post, which occasionally results in the user being banned for bumping a dead thread or making a 'stupid bump' (according to some of the ban reasons I've seen on other posts), whereas others will either get pissy about it and rage (which has happened a few times before, and that only resulted in a petty argument from all parties involved) or try to inform you of the basic etiquette that seems to be common around here. In this particular instance, however, it's a matter of someone who's new to the site deciding to be snarky about people explaining a simple point to you and acting like it's a personal offense. Seriously, if you don't want people to respond to messages directed towards specific individuals, keep it to a PM or a profile message; that's just simple logic.
