I'm currently working on putting together an In-Game fleet to test with some AI scripting to see if I can maybe make a minigame. Other than that, those others are doing work I couldn't touch as far as modeling can go, so nice work.

Civil are you planning on making the blue-colored parts colorable? Just a suggestion.
can§t help but think the texture used is too light, as if someone overlayed it with white.
On the mine? you have to remember a lot of the stuff pulled out of the game is seperated into several maps, and the games engine will display them differently than we will see it in editing programs or ported into GMod. It's probably using the standard diffused only if it's too light but I don't see a problem with it, looks normal to me.

Yeah the diffuse really does look like it has a too high exposure
Could of course been done intentionally for the game since they do appear only in one specifically lit scene, but it looks very odd in gmod. Try bumping the vibrance and contrast on the diffuse by a bit to see what gives.

Yeah Tosh is pretty good, I have quite a few of them out already but trying to focus on one at a time. My primary focus is colouring 'Dezerged' Kerrigan back to the original concept colours, and kitbashing her with Nova's armor and working on few ideas from there.
As for the mine, I knew that the textures were all ripped properly, what I was getting at is maybe in the engine that was being used to display it, it was a differently lighting setting than where you see the spider mines in the Hyperion hanger, I wasn't saying they were wrong lol.
Will you guys get some of the other models from The Hyperion? (Firebat, spectre, marines and Gen. Warfield)

I've never had any issues with any of the models I've been exporting, as for SMD I've never tried to export in that format I'll give it a shot and see what happens.

Theres nothing wrong with the models, I have already sort of improved some of their textures on my hdd, if I ever complete all of them I would likely upload them on my google drive for more to use.
Didn't have any problems with the export Deus, I run all my stuff through U3D before putting it in Blender though so that might have something to do with it? Blenders import tools are shoddy at best unfortunately.

Civil updated the Materials for kerrigan and we added the light tracers as a bodygroup as shown.

Good thinking adding them as a new bodygroup, makes more sense to do it that way. Also, the model turned out pretty well so thanks for all the effort put in.
Once I tinker around more with the Crates with Nova sat on them I'm hoping to get her cloaking thing to work, maybe with a little more frequency than the in-game set. It's pretty neat after all.
These all look fantastic. Are they SFM compatible?
