yes but the engine uses sub-d to interpolate between those polygons for a smoother surface
you can't recreate that with triangulated models

What is exported is what the engine uses.
My Program attaches itself to the games asset database and extracts the raw model data.
So the mesh exported is what is sent to sub-d.

the left one's the original triangulated model
the right one's an automatically de-triangulated model

you can see that the original one is broken everywhere and the right one has a lot of errors as well - maybe it would be better to rip the already-subdivided mesh from the renderer

When you say missing, like folder is there but no model file or is the model just not there?

Yeah, there are a ton of folders that are simply not there. Like all the vepyr and vks folders (and several others)

They tend to give funky names to some guns which makes finding them hard ^^

Will admit, I was not expecting them to use sub-d inside of the game, because of the fact the models were made out of tris.
Mentally explained the edge padding by them using the base files for sub-d and material rendering prior to putting the non-subdivided meshes into the game itself.
Still kinda odd. If some of the of the guns themselves are running into 25-30k polygons we might be looking into 120k after subd1.

need to actually half that, since they're probably running it trough quads as opposed to tris actually.

I did this by sculpting original verts, so technically I could easily update the model in game.
I am still in the process of finishing up the vehicle models, these packs will clock in to over 5 gb...
Loki, aka Space Mission, models are not in these packs, most of the map is probably made out of props which I will look into later.
