Added the M249 onto the steam workshop! I might also create a new thread with my next release, which I want you guys to choose!
Just redo this thread, make it a general release thread of your bodygrouped weapons or something like that.
This section isalready flooded with all these shit posts, no need to make things worse.

But is it possible to change the thread title? I've tried changing it in the "edit post" menu and it still appears to be the same.

I thought I'd give you guys an update on my work. Just got back from a 3-day school trip, so I'm still working on the Sawed-off shotgun and the SSG08. Textures on the shotty still needs work; you wouldn't want the Remington 870 to be stenciled on the side with "Ralphington 808" wouldn't you?

As a side note, I've added the original M4A1 variant with the polymer handguard! You can check out the dropbox link or the steam workshop link now.
I'm also going to accept more CS:GO weapon requests, and I might also port weapons from other games/sources, but these may take longer to do, as my hands are tied by schoolwork, even though It's summer.
Awesome, keep up the good work mate!
I didn't find much to request from CS GO, as you ported some, but I found couple of guns for CS S from Gamebanana:

Whether you take them is up to you, but thanks for reading.
Since you said you were accepting weapon requests, I found some guns that seemed particularly interesting to me, whether you decide to fulfil my request is your business but if you do, that'd be great:

I would do those, but I would have to ask permission from the creators first. We'll see about that.
Sup peeps, I finally finished the Sawed-off, more commonly known as the Remington 870! Pretty proud of the new textures; they include genuine logo markings!

If you don't have another one planned already, I'd like to request the MP7 after you finish the SSG.

I'd thought I'd give you guys an update about what's to come during the following weeks. I've decided to do the AWP first, then the MP7, and finally the SSG08. This is because the SSG has a folding stock, and It's going to take quite some time to hack those into the model, as well as complete the textures. The AWP and MP7 seem faster to complete, so I'm going to do those first. However, all these models will have to be put on hold because I have to attend a 3-week summer camp in a couple of days, and there are no computers or laptops allowed on campus.
Excuses aside, I've decided to release a model pack for you guys to play around with during my absence. It includes both CT and T knives, C4, and a custom Ballistic Shield model modeled and textured by Ben Tate. Both of the knives include additional skingroups for a bloodied blade, as well as the golden knife from Arms Race mode. The C4 includes bodygroups for cut and uncut wires, as well as skingroups for the LED monitor. The C4 also includes self-illuminating textures. The Ballistic shield does not include skingroups nor bodygroups, unfortunately.
Also, I may be adding gun camo for my previous releases, so tell me which guns you want camo on, and what kind of camo, and I'll think about it. As usual, requests for other firearms are still open, but I will be prioritizing ones from CS:GO over custom gamebanana skins.
Enough rambling, here's the link to the Knife, Shield, and C4, and I'll see you guys again soon!
Gotta say man, you're doing good work here. Keep it up!

It's been quite some time, and since the CS:GO weapons may take some more time to finish, I decided to create a hack of some concept rifles by Likon on gamebanana. He has recently finished skinning his two conceptual rifles, the LK-05 and the Scar-LK. They look very good and have tons of bodygroups. As a side note, the SCAR-LK comes with two flavors (with or without a carrying handle) and has five different skingroups. I am planning to "officially" release it tomorrow on the steam workshop, but in the meantime, you can download the dropbox version right now! I hope you guys will enjoy It while I work on other CS:GO weapons.

After quite some time, Bloocobalt and Floatertwo have finally released their CS:GO model pack. Because of this, my priorities is most likely going to change, and I will probably work on other models. It's been fun porting some of the CS:GO models, and I hope you guys have enjoyed my work.

As for Likon's models, the workshopper application does not seem to be working at all, so it will take some more time before I can finally upload it to the steam workshop. They will most likely receive an update sometime during next week, so keep your eyes peeled. Because I can't update the first post, I will post the bodygroup statistics here for those of you who want them:

Through trial and error. However, the most probable reason your props are purple is because you did not correctly set the textures name. In the material editor in 3ds max (or some other equivalent in another program), there are many slots, each for one or more materials. just add the name of your texture in the box right of the eyedropper, and in the options below, there will be a tab that says "general maps." choose the diffuse texture, and then assign the material to the object by selecting it and pressing the third button that looks like an arrow pointing from a sphere to a cube. to show the textures in the viewport, press the button that looks like a checker-board with a small light bulb on the bottom-right hand corner. Then export the smd and compile the model. Your texture must have the same name as the material the object is assigned to, and in the same directory as specified in the .qc file.
Alternately, if you already have the SMD which uses only one texture, open it up with Notepad++ or the like and replace all the texture names (which probably will appear as something similar to "Material_99" without the brackets).
For more information on compiling, check out Rinfucks model compiling tutorial for 3dsmax
o cool you used my tutorial for your stuff

I assumed that it was posted under a creative commons license.
And I specified that it was yours.
im joking about the 50$ thing
And I wasn't really serious, but It's ok.

I finished the bayoneted and Long-barreled version of the LK05, as well as a total of four camo textures. However, am I undecided about this one. What do you guys think about this red camo?
As I said, I will probably re-release the LK05 during this week (right before school starts), so keep your eyes peeled.

I'm finally done tweaking my LK05! Some parts are now joint-tool "compatible," which means I can add more attachments to the gun. Today's release includes 7 optical attachments, 3 types of grips, 3 different LAM positions, a suppressor, a sliding stock, a adjustable cheekpiece, adjustable iron sights, and more! Also note that this model will not replace your old LK05 or SCAR-LK models.

Lastly, here's a quick tutorial on adjusting parts of the gun with the joint tool. The tool can be found on the steam workshop. Since I have to wake really early tomorrow, the credits will be posted tomorrow. So download the tool and the model and have some fun!
