This is the only one I can find (Link below) and is pretty much only a male batarian head on a female body.. probably? the person who made it said they could probably make a female drell but wouldn't give her boobs. So *shrug* I don't see the point :P
http://just-jasper.deviantart.com/art/Batarian-Female-Commando-details-368557913
that was the model i was talking about yes
I can port them from XNALara, if people really want them.
Just be aware that if the model has shitty rigging, I won't exert the effort to fix it. Faceposing and eyeposing, however, I will do. Especially if the model already has some faceposing bones - eyelids and jaw-drop at the very least.
Rate this post agree if you guys want me to port that female Batarian. Rate this post informative if you want that formal Shepard posted by Chriger. Rate this post useful if you want both.
I'd still very much love ME3 FemShepard in the ME2 formal dress if anyone could do that.
Well, there was an overwhelming quantity of wrenches on that post, and I had homework that I needed to do, so naturally I went and ported the Batarian instead of doing said homework.

I've got 46 flexes made for her, as can be seen here.
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8416055/DeleteMe/BatarianCommando_002.jpg[/t]
However, something went horribly, horribly wrong with the mouth flexes...
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8416055/DeleteMe/BatarianCommando_003.jpg[/t]
Which I don't understand, because the teeth mesh do not do that in the flexes themselves, and the mesh I used to make the flexes and the final reference are identical.
I also still need to figure out how to handle four eyes, though it kinda looks like Batarians don't have pupils. Maybe I can get away with not having any eyeposing. :v:
I had to double take with that last image, because that substance did not look like a messed up teeth flex
still, good hack.
that reminds me, whatever happened to those Female turians a few pages / thread ago?
Oh yeaaaahhh... I totally forgot about them. Whoops! :v:
Basically I am hugely in favor of any hacks or ports that add diversity to the ME models
Female turians, Salarians in different outfits, shit like that
that's my jam, yo
I've got what I think is all the salarian outfits ported, I just never got around to doing the pile of different colored outfits such a pack deserved. So they're compiled with one ugly default skin and a bunch of errors.

Brilliant! I think the slightly tall salarians who usually have hoods are meant to be the females, minus the salarian councillor.
Also, I agree with Eric Zenith. The more the merrier. There's still a whole lot of Mass Effect things we don't have yet from the games, though I have a lot of patience. I'm going to wait until we have pretty much everything before getting back into Gmod. (Heh any excuse to procrastinate really)

Well, in the case of the Dalatrass and the replacement Councilor, yeah. Otherwise it just kind of seems to be a formal outfit. Female salarians wear it a lot because they tend to be the ones with the power. It's like saying only male humans wear suits.

Heh, you're never going to get anywhere like that. I think a lot of porters' interest Mass Effect has been diverted elsewhere, and it's going to take something like, oh, Mass Effect 4 to get them interested again. And then there'll just be a whole bunch more stuff!

There's a lot of stuff already ported. If you have all the model packs and know where all the models are, you could do a huge amount of stuff.
At this point, the things I am looking forward to seeing ported are the FTurians and the Mass Effect: Citadel enemies (particularly for that omni-shield, and, due to its holographic nature, preferably done in the same way as the Go0r's omni-tool on Admiral Anderson, since that's the only omni-tool out of every ME model that shows up properly in SFM).
The citadel enemies are already ported, they're just one of the many things i've finished and not yet released.

I have a whole heap of stuff that's almost done or just done and not released yet. I'll get around to releasing it at some point.
Is that shield a separate prop or a bodygroup?
It's a prop.

Sure there is, but I was going to maybe redo the trilogy my way. I probably need a bunch of ME1 things first but I'll mostly be able to cut/paste crap from the actual game anyway or just use screenshots, so who knows.
Also, doesn't belong here I know but I felt like sharing.

Samara (Rana McAnear) and Shepard (Mark Meer) :P
Does anyone have hold of the Nyreen model or the latest MP characters?
Nyreen is in the Omega pack, can't remember the author

Meer should've been in the Injured Shepard armor just to make fun of the terrible writing in ME3

Thanks lads.

Think about it this way, though.
We have Shepard and the squadmates from all the games. We have all the guns from ME2 and on with the exceptions of some late DLC guns for ME3 (we have some ME1 guns IIRC but not sure on that).
We have the enemies from all three games. Reapers (ME1-3 versions), Cerberus, Geth (ME1-3 versions), Collectors (ME3 versions). We have the Quarians from ME2 and ME3. Civilian Asari are ported. Civilian Turians (possibly military, too, and the Female ones are in the works), civilian humans, N7 humans, spectre (unsure on this one) humans, military humans. We have the various gangs and their different races.
Thanks to Cire992 and some others, there are more props from the games (ME1 and ME2) that I can even begin to keep track of. We have the ships.
We have a lot of models. At least enough to begin your project.
At this point, the things I think we lack the most of are: Particle effects (which, I know, are extremely difficult to impossible to port), maps (some fit, some do not), and properly glowing holographic things (omni-tools, screens, tech armor) for SFM ffs (I've said it before and I'll say it again: GoOr's recent Anderson model is the only model ported where the omni-tool glows properly in SFM. All others are essentially invisible with the exception of one that is textured and colored strangely (I have some potential fixes that I have yet to try though)).

No rush, man. I'm sure one day you'll come in here and just blow us all away with dem ports.

I agree with everything you said, my good Spartan, except for this a little bit. I mentioned in the past that we needed a fancy release for Mordin, Grunt, Jack (ME2), Wrex, and Benezia with complete flexes, and by his good graces Cire992 delivered an impressively versatile Mordin to us. I hope I'm not alone in that I'd kill for the other four to get that level of attention. The Wrex model I have is from ME1 I believe, and has pretty limited faceposing. The others are either NPC's or don't exist.
The ME Catalog is indeed ridiculously thorough, and we've been blessed the past few years with the concerted effort in these threads, but it wouldn't be complete without these guys!
Also looking forward to whatever you have cooked up, Floater :)
The thing that is really lacking is environments, plain and simple. We have collectively ported gigs worth of Mass Effect content into a game with no mass effect maps. Despite all the ports I've done, and stuff I've got from others, I still find myself doing most of my posing and scenebuilds in max so I can use mass effect environments (plus its faster anyway :p).
We've got two Mass Effect maps to my knowledge... an unfinished Citadel Council Chamber, and Femshep's ME3 Quarters. We definitely need to get more tossed out here.
I've been asking my friends repeatedly for like a month or two now to get me some 360* pictures of environments in Mass Effect they want ported, so I can give a swing at creating the maps in Hammer.
Especially since we have a high-quality release of nearly all the ME1 and ME2 environment textures, for use in maps, now.
They've yet to take me up on my offer.

True, but its more like the random people such as ME1 Ashley, Udina, Matriarch Benezia, the Keepers, the Rachni, Reaper Saren, Geth Armatures/Colossus and if possible ME2 Bailey, Pressly and Chakwas. But yeah we do have pretty much everything already and like Cire said, it's mostly the environments we're lacking.

You reminded me that I should probably finish this up and release it some day. I ported and built the face-posing, like, 2 months ago. Then for some reason I got bored about the time I was going to add the Source eyes. :v:

Hmm... do we have the default Turian soldiers from mp?
I apologise if I'm being a bit of a twat, but that tends to be the price of curiosity.

Unfortunately the only MP characters that have been ported are the N7 characters from the Earth MP pack. I'm certain the others will get ported eventually.
