I would say a bookshelf
or elaborate furniture for rich people
Nice, I'm going to download THIS MODELPACK IS DEAD
Updated the main post. SVN is up on REV6 plus a download on gmod.org.
I said it before to you on Steam, and I'll say it again, this stuff is awesome, and I love it :)
My cousin asked for a bunch've more bedroom crap, like bedside tables, and dressers, and stuff.
Thanks a lot, man.
I really love this furniture pack, and it's one of the best! Now I'm not forced to use old Valve furniture models anymore! Now the rooms in RP maps will look much better with these models :D (cause hell, I love decorating in RP maps!! :P)
Great job, and thanks for making such a great furniture pack! ;)
Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your feedback. I'm always happy about people who like to use these models...
[UPDATE] Updated information about packed .zips.
[UPDATE] Added a status-list.
[UPDATE] Added a Microwave.
[UPDATE] Added Pots.
[UPDATE] Added a fork and a knife.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! That is all I can say about this model pack. Thank you Cherubim for reviving it.

No problem. I just had to see if it is used. Models nobody uses are... well, useless.
[UPDATE] Added two tables.
[REVISION] Updated to Revision 11. SkinSwitcher is now included.
Models that aren't used aren't totally wasted. They can make great practice, too!
Don't talk shit, they will be used if they will be sexy as these.

I did not say wasted, I said useless ;) But yes, you are somehow right.
Going to work on some more stuff now.
I would like to help you Cherubim with skinning, but sadly I don't know how to add multiple skins for a model to switch (like the refrigerator has). I want to make some other textures for these packs, so that people can change the rooms theme with this :)
Keep up the good work, Cherubim :D
I will continue. Any requests, suggestions?
Prefab Walls with Doorframes, Windowframes, and the usual stuff, useful on Build, and on RP Servers where you have to create your own places, like STALKER etc...
Maybe ranging from Modular Pieces to Prefab Houses just in need of furnishing, Texture Options include Rough, to Medieval, to Modern/Highrise?
And maybe the first Prefab fully-enterable Skyscraper(10-20 levels? High ceilings?), with Windows on all sides, and ramps to each level?
Glad to be of Inspiration if any of these ideas are taken into account, if Popular, consider a more Star Wars theme with Coruscant-Style Highrise Skyscrapers that scratch the ceiling of Flatgrass, and only the Top Half is acessible by Landing Platform.
Would inspire a new origonal level of Roleplaying, and this could become the next SBMP, I am very Ambitious afterall. (Isn't anybody? Especially when you read Fantasy for leisure...)
And if somebody dosen't try this soon, I may use my Novice mapping skills to create an epic map themede off this stuff :3

1. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
2. I already started with prefab walls and street-parts for better mapping. Planning prefab houses, too.
3. If you really want to make a map, wait a little so I can start on my own stuff.
4. With the prefab houses there will come prefab skyscrapers. I think they're easy. Not much to do since all the levels look nearly the same...
5. "Inspire a new level of Roleplaying". Interesting. I already hoped that my pack would increase the level of roleplaying a little. Not enough yet I'd say, yea.
Thank you very much for your suggestions, MattyK.

Skinning? Well, I don't do any UVW Mapping... but you can make textures and give them to me so I can try what I can do for you.
Hehe, nice to see we think alike.
;)
[UPDATE] Added a chair
[UPDATE] Added Walls
[UPDATE] Added Street parts
[REVISION] Uploaded content. Current Revision is 12.
Nice update Cheribum ;)
I also like the Chair, the wall and the street models :D
By the way, can you do the wall_straight models to be 2x, 4x, and 8x longer?
So that we could put longer streets instead of linking little streets :P
Here are some screenshots about a new skin for the wood:

If you like it here are the materials :)
http://www.2shared.com/file/4711960/1ef5f950/wood_clean3.html
You can rename it, tweak it to make it look better, add it as another skin...
I will do more skins for the refrigerator, metal, pot, and for tables
PS: Can you make the models not to magnetize itself to the floor? If you throw it, it will fall back with the bottom, and if you push it to the wall it will magnetize the bottom to the wall (not permanently). I suggest it would be like all other models....
Thread needs a decent bit more Eye Candy, especially on the frontpage.
Also a small website wouldn't be bad :D
It could use Drupal, WordPress or any other kind of other CMS.
And a forum too if you like :P
At first, thank you for your material, atrpunk07. It'll be embedded within the next revision.
To come to the point "Magnetisation": They're just weighted. Their masscenter is positioned at the bottom. This way I try to allow roleplayers without physguns to better position them. It's quite difficult to move something in place with the gravgun...
So, you want Eye Candy? Mh. I might set up a little webpage or more screenshots at the mainpost... An own forum would be a little too much I think. Not enough known using people here.
[UPDATE] Added two longer streets
[UPDATE] Added two new skins for all props
[UPDATE] Fridge: Added black and white skin
[REVISION] Uploaded content. Current Revision is 13.

Woah! Streets?
This is really the level where you need an updated frontpage plastered in screenshots, will draw in ALOT of people.
Thanks Cherubim for adding those long streets and those 2 skins :D
MattyK is right, frontpage needs screenshots :D
I could help you with a small website if you want, or if you give permission :)
And also you will be admin there ^^

No problem. They had to be added within time.
Thanks for your offer, atrpunk07, but I'm my own webdesigner ;) I might set one up the next week.
I love this, it is awesome, keep up the good work Cherubim!
Oh, I forgot to mention that I fixed the oven-material bug...
Cheribum, that's the spirit :D
Make your site to have a gallery, so that you can post pictures about the RP Furniture, and if desired, post individual pictures about all the items, in high res :P
Misc:
[] Pictures/Poster
I was thinking that you could release a sample picture frame, so we could make skins for it, and then give it to you, to make the picture RP Furniture picture gallery bigger and bigger :)
And how you think of doing it, every picture has a separate model, just like in CSS, in the cs_office map, or you will put all the skins into one model, so it can be switched with SkinSwitcher? Also the models appears in the Props tab, models with multiple skins. And by the way, can you pm me on how to put multiple skins for a model? :]
Thanks Cheribum :P

I will use skins for the pictures, but it's a good idea to have much pictures from different people for different situations...
For everybody who might want to know how to make skins: Add the following lines to your .qc-file.
$texturegroup skinfamilies
{
{ "my_standard_material_used_in_the_modeling_program" }
{ "replacement1" }
{ "replacement2" }
}
Hmm.... thanks for the share :)
I finally succeeded to put multiple skins into the skin. You should write in the above code the following if model uses multiple skins: (the below is just an example)

$texturegroup skinfamilies
{
{ "back" "front" }
If you want the first material to change to next skin, change to:
{ "back2" "front" }
If you want the second material to change to next skin, change to:
{ "back" :front2" }
If you want both to change to next skin, change to:
{ "back2" front2"}
Also, can you release a sample painting model, like ones found in cs_office, but with less mesh and easier skinning, so that everyone could make their skins for that sample painting model :)
Here's a test I made, while testing the $texturegroup:

And yes, this is a picture gallery/painting model/picture frame I was talking about earlier :)
Because there is a lot of work for making a skin for this model (which is actuallythe offpaintingj.mdl from CSS) and as you can see, the offpaintingj.vft has a tilted image, which you need other image editing softwares to put the image over it, and tilt it. I was thinking if you could do a simple image gallery model, which uses a texture for the frame, which is the same for all the pictures, and the main picture texture file, which contains the image for this gallery. And you could release the poster too, which uses one side, the whole side to use a texture, and the other size still the whole side, to have the back texture for it, which is the same for all the posters. I know that they are in the to-do list, but if you release it earlier, we could extend the RP Furniture with lots of cool and nice (and also beautiful) images :D
I hope this is not to much from me.... :]
Visiting the graveyard to soon, my good Thread?
I don't think so.
