I already tried.It does not work. It is precisely the texture dif that does not allow it to do so!
does the texture have an alpha channel?
é proprio la texture dif che non lo permette di farlo!
can't understand this bit mate
does the texture have an alpha channel?
I have no idea .... I tried to change the texture without success .... if the step you can take a look?

testing Bionik Bitz for Iron Hands and their successors

Impressive. Will this be a unique model in it's own name or will this be able to be bone merged like the uniforms and gear from Bloo's BSAA models?
ever heard of bodygroups?
I have. I just wasn't sure if you would be pushing the limit for it already, as the models appear to be carrying quite a few body groups already.
Saw this and thought that you could make the DKoK Lasgun with it:

Not really. Lucius (i.e. DKoK) lasguns are quite similar-ish to the ubiquitous Kantrel lasgun but with a stock similar to most bolt-action rifles (and a few semi-auto ones too).
Compare the Lucius-pattern lasgun here:
[img_thumb]http://media.moddb.com/images/groups/1/3/2055/1271099410879.jpg[/img_thumb]
to any of these:

Only a few bits and pieces from the DG-2 would be useful for a Lucius-pattern model, and even then it'd be better to model some elements from scratch since the Lucius isn't that particularly outlandish compared to some other lasgun types.
the DKoK lasgun is already being made by enhancing the DoW2 version
I have. I just wasn't sure if you would be pushing the limit for it already, as the models appear to be carrying quite a few body groups already.
they are. that's why i have to strip the Iron Hands of a few options and redo the way the legs are grouped to allow bionics in.
bonemerging the robo parts is actually a great idea and i'd do things that way otherwise, but the way i'd have to bodygroup the leg parts for that to work - to allow in the "blank" bodygroups that the bionics could be put in - wouldn't actually be much different from the way i currently do it and wouldn't really allow for more options than the current method does
to elaborate: the current leg bodygroup setup for the default marine is
++both thighs++
++both lower legs++
for the Sons of Medusa it's
++left thigh++
++right thigh++
++both lower legs++
and for the Iron Hands, i might take it one more step further for even more varied bionics
++left thigh++
++right thigh++
++left lower leg++
++right lower leg++
for this and the cyborg arms AND head bionic parts to work, to avoid breaching any engine limits, i've had to cut down the available torso, helmet and lower leg bodygroup options almost to the barest minimum. regrettable, but the Iron Hands are not known for being fans of bling and decoration so it's not that huge an issue
now, you can guess that for the bonemerge trick i'd still have to use the third, most extensive bodygroup setup or at least the current Sons of Medusa one to be able to fit in the empty spaces for the bonemerged parts
jenkins wanted me to post this

Metal Gear Online.

That actually looks pretty cool.
On a side note, if you were to remove a few specific components from the model, that actually looks like it would fit in rather well for a fictional medieval setting as well.
That's why it's called Warhammer 40,000. It's Warhammer in space.

I've honestly never played Warhammer or Warhammer 40k, so I'm not entirely familiar with the settings. :suicide:

Think fantasy meet Sci Fi meets Steampunkish meet gothic horror
Dune + Starship Troopers + Lovecraft is the best way to sum up the general setting
when you go into details things start to get Blade Runner, dark ages/feudalism, 1984/nazi germany/USSR, mecha anime etc etc
Think fantasy meet Sci Fi meets Steampunkish meet gothic horror
nah steampunks gay
if you had to use a single genre it would be "dark fantasy" imo
40k's way closer to dieselpunk than steampunk anyway, just look at the tanks
since i've been working on bionic bitz, i've decided (with some persuasion from Viper) to make the Iron Hands Legion's assets at this point. stay tuned for updates n shizzle
(It should be noted that the only way to persuade Joazzz is by blood sacrifice.)

Does it have to be my blood or someone elses?
Does it have to be my blood or someone elses?
The blood of a treasured family pet should suffice, though you can always improvise with the blood of the youngest sibling as well.
no, it's going to have to be your blood. all of it. and some extra.
the extra needs to come from a siamese hermaphrodite midget.

Why not both to sweeten the deal
