You would expect the Celestial Lions to start having Terminator Apothecaries and Dreadnought Apothecaries, because they're kind of more resilient to Ork Snipers. Actually, I belive that the best idea for them would be making their whole chapter Apothecaries.
the Inq- i mean Ork Snipers would just shoot the entire chapter anyway
It's noticeably harder to punch through Dreadnough front plate than through "my face is my shield" regular marine apothecary.
You underestimate the power of the Inqui- Orkish WAAAAAAAAGH.
Terminator Librarian need to do a few checks and make the Mk2 torso for the Apothecary, maybe mess a little with skingroups, and then the specialist Marines should be ready
a week of silence? PREPOSTEROUS! here, have a big stompy fing each Chapter has two Dreadnoughts - Basic/Venerable and Siege/Ironclad every 1st Founding Chapter and Legion gets an additional Heresy-style Dreadnought Dreadnought accessory loadouts will have some faction-specific limitations - Iron Warriors Dreadnoughts for example will have heavier torso armor and less decorations Blood Angels, World Eaters, Space Wolves and Night Lords will get extra close combat variants with twin killing arms Blood Angels will also have the Librarian Dreadnought Chaplain Dreadnought will be made without Chapter liverly Traitor variants will be considered for some Legions - not Chaos dreadnoughts, but ones with spikes and such i will showcase the Ironclad/Siege variant ASAP, i need to fix some issues with it first
Even in death I'm still pimp as fuck
Dreadnought twin-linked heavy bolter arm and jetbike nose gun options also reconstructed the dreadnought's skeleton. it should be Valvebiped IK compatible now, but that remains to be tested the bike is now 100% done. vehicle WiPs left: Siege/Ironclad Dreadnought Land Raider MK2B traitor Land Raider MK2B traitor Land Raider Heresy style traitor Dreadnought Contemptor traitor Contemptor Stormraven Mortis Dreadnought Drop Pod Siege/Ironclad 'naught needs tweaking, fixing and testing Land Raider MK2B - a direct precursor to the modern ones and used during the Heresy - needs some tweaking and gun options the next three are a simple matter of taking existing things and slapping some spiky detail on them Contemptor needs tweaking, fixing and testing traitor Contemptor is just a spiky version of the aforementioned Stormraven needs deformation, is 100% ready otherwise Mortis Dreadnought - well i'll just have to make left arm versions of some of the guns Drop Pod needs a few weapon bodygroups i also finished the attack/assault bike, and i've also made Destroyer Legionnaires, i'll be showing those next
Destroyer Legionnaire with skingroups for all 18 Legions. additionally you can choose between Sons of Horus and Luna Wolves depending on what you're doing i'll have to make some proper rad/chem-weaponry later
traitor Contemptor pattern dreadnought - which is just the regular Contemptor dread, but with shoulder spikes, sharp claws and an optional spike rack on the back i'm yet to figure out how to make the Cyclone Missile Launcher fit on with the shoulder spikes there. actually i think it needs more proper heretical detail. i need to figure out how to put more spikes on it without overdoing it [editline]23rd October 2015[/editline] the regular Contemptor and soon the traitor version are both finished, but i'm still a bit iffy about the head options. i'll probably include the MK2 helmet seen here, plus MK4 and MK7 helms [editline]23rd October 2015[/editline] additional regular Contemptor shot (with old forearm textures)

right, most of the Heresy stuff is done now. "most" meaning "if we don't count certain Legion-specific things like armor decoration" before i get to the final parts - making aforementioned bits, and making the textures for all the Legions and Chapters - i'm going to go through the post-Heresy bitz. for this i'll be using a certain Chapter that you might recognize by the crimson shade of their fist insignia
psychic hood for all the head props as a bodygroup glowing psyker eyes as a skingroup
these are just amazing, can't wait to see more
sure is dusty in here i've got the Ironclad Dreadnought just about ready so i should post that next
Maybe I'm slow, but how do you download these? I'd like to use them in an animation.
Maybe I'm slow, but how do you download these? I'd like to use them in an animation.
you are slow, they haven't been released yet. This has been said on nearly every page.
you are slow, they haven't been released yet. This has been said on nearly every page.
Alright cool. Can't wait!
i'll try to start releasing them before Christmas time. right now the part giving me the most pain is the helmetless head props and their accessories. once that's out of the way i should be able to finish these really quick great to see that animators are showing interest

I use Blender for all my modelling, and animation needs. When you release them what format are they going to be in? (Sorry if that has already been answered.)

They're going to be in the standard Garry's Mod .mdl format. They're compatible with Gmod and SFM. If you want to use them in Blender, you're going to need to use Crowbar to decompile them, and then you're going to need to create an animation rig for them yourself.
the thread title should be changed to something like WH40k Gmod/SFM Model Development weve gone beyond mere porting a long time ago after all

I'm pretty decent with Blender, and can rig just fine. My only obstacle it seems at this point put be to use this program you mentioned after everything is released.

that will most definitely happen
getting pretty far in the bug squashing phase and preparing to make the Legions for real now i'm using Crimson Fists for the post-Heresy Chapter reference, Imperial Fists for the 1st Founding Legion/Chapter reference, and Iron Warriors for the Loyalist/Traitor Legion reference here's an example of the sort of skingroup shit you can expect from the Heresy models standard Legionary, sergeant, veteran, veteran sergeant, assault Legionary the helmet stripes, according to the Horus Heresy game rule books, were a standard organizational quirk in the VII Legion's ranks during the Crusade and the Heresy. meanwhile, the M41 era Imperial Fists will follow codex coloring for their helmets. the "Fancy" version of the MK7 set is just about done, i gave it a new set of pauldron bodygroups so you can use it for Company Champions [editline]7th November 2015[/editline] they're basically pauldrons on top of pauldrons [editline]7th November 2015[/editline] added some lights and extra window bodygroups to the Imperator Titan
That Imperator Titan is awesome
