so i'm down to one problem now. according to experts it will be a very tough nut though and i cant give ANY sort of ETA on the "when's it going to be done" side of things.
once that's solved there's going to be lots of compiling to do, lots and lots of model compiling... and some texture work maybe
if everything goes swimmingly i'll be able to release the base files (including weapons) and the Ultramarines some time next week. do not hold all of your breath since i have to go through the models one more time and there might still be issues that could cause delays, but the bug hunt has been pretty thorough so far and the chance of any more errors popping up is low
im going on a road trip tomorrow so i probably won't be able to work on them too much, but i'll try to spend most of Sunday wrapping things up

Hey we've been waiting for awhile for these, take your time. We can wait longer till their all perfect and bug-less.
The fact is being relased is a miracle for all of us anyway.
I'm more worried about the Imperial Guard relase right now, as the power balls might be too big for Source to handle. Also, Chaos chain balls might cause some trouble too.

Okay, I just stumbled across this thread cos I'm looking for reasonably good quality Space Marine models. I've been trying (in vain) to rip the models from the [I]Warhammer 40k: Space Marine[/I] game, cannot seem to get any ripping programs working. Found something that can be used in conjunction with 3Ds Max, which I don't have, so another dead end. It's a shame since the multiplayer models had a fair level of customisation which would have been cool. I wanted to use them for 3D printing.
Anyway, the point; what exactly is this thread about? It seems at first it's IG models, but now you're all talking about so much I can't get my head around any of it, and sadly I don't have time to read through the entire thread (work is a bitch). Anyways, thanks guys.
Currently the main people are Joazz, Ninja nub, and a bunch of other people are working on every faction.
So currently they are wrapping up the Space Marines, This pack contains [I]almost[/I] every Space marine unit, Vehicle, Guns, And air unit exclusively for space marines. It also contains Horus heresy equipment. they working on skins for specific chapters so yeah, its pretty huge
The next faction is Imperial Guard with a side of orcs.

did you, you know, keep the alpha of the hair texture intact? vtfedit > view > channel > alpha. If it's pure white or pure black, you fracked up.

the texture is taken from the original game space marine. so I do not know how it works

I noticed you extracted spacehulk assets, thank you so much. my question is how to extract the mesh from the 43 file cant seem to find a extractor. I got all your fbx files converted into max files. I have the game and all the dlc bundles, and can extract the assets. file just having a problem with the 43 file any help would be gladly appreciated.
Hello , use unity studio available on xentax. I just recently used it to extract Space Hulk models with weights and bones, its an awesome tool works with every uniyu game i try. Hope this helps.
