Didn't somebody do some Red Orchestra Russians? Or something along those lines. Something like that could probably be used to hack together some Valhallans.
they lack the signature great coats though, only tunics.
also guys i'm having a terrible scaling problem, i'll quote myself from the 40k thread after some scaling i now have this however, the Warlord is still too big compared to the smaller two's weapons, but i can't shrink it any further because then the whole thing will definitely look way too small (even moreso than it currently does should i just make the guns bigger on the bigger Titans pls halp
I'd make the guns bigger on the bigger titans.
we need Armageddon Steel Legion too
Shouldn't we just be able to reskin the Russian soldiers from RO2 and put a gasmask/goggles on them to get Steel Legion?
SO BE IT the Reaver's legs are textured now by the way. i have only the guns left one more thing though. the Gatling Blaster is a projectile weapon and the laser and melta guns need to draw power from somewhere. ammo belt and power cables y/n? wouldn't require much additional modeling and texturing would be quick and easy too

Catachans would also be pretty cool, I guess. :v:

I will do some quick research! EDIT: I can't find anything. Go for it.
ammo belts are fucking rad anyway
I'd make the guns bigger on the bigger titans. Steel Legion are more akin to Fallschirmjager rather than Soviet soldiers. It'd be a combination of Fallschirmjager, some model with a knee high trench coat (because Steel Legion aren't as fabulous as Valhallans) and a gasmask. The other issue with this is that the RO2 greatcoats have not been released, which also limits the Valhallans.
content bump [t]http://files.1337upload.net/reavertitan_shot1-06623d.jpg[/t][t]http://files.1337upload.net/reavertitan_shot2-f928c9.jpg[/t][t]http://files.1337upload.net/reavertitan_shot3-5a41b0.jpg[/t] it's still missing a few pieces but for the most part it's done (Carapace Hard Point bodygroups are yet to be done, but those are next up on the list). it's also fully color tool compatible, like the Emperor also here's some more scale reference [t]http://files.1337upload.net/reaveritan_warhoundsize-090f69.jpg[/t][t]http://files.1337upload.net/reavertitan_warlordsize-2a0827.jpg[/t][t]http://files.1337upload.net/reavertitan_wholetitanlineup-72e415.jpg[/t] the Warlord is small because its legs are too short (damnit WH40kSM developers), but i already came up with a solution: i'm going to need help with it
._. I think I came.
wasting "gene-seed" by desecrating a precious cogitator display with it is heresy *BLAM*
i think you need to spread those legs out
which legs exactly?
i think you need to spread those legs out
Whoa man, on the first date?
Warhound now has a full weapon load well, almost. for some reason the barrels of the Vulcan Mega Bolters were not ripped with the rest of the guns, so i'll have to improvise a bit
Quick question, if these are coming out. Is there anybody working on Rig scripts for SFM. Because if these are released later on, i can make a SFM video of two warhound titans trying to rush against a Chaos army. (probably need Rigs for the chaos dudes as well.
you'll have to talk to Kartoffel about that, i know absolutely nothing about SFM
Remember comrade, my skinning efforts are at your disposal. All hail Chuthu.....I mean the Emperor.
Remember comrade, my skinning efforts are at your disposal. All hail Chuthu.....I mean the Emperor.
ye as soon as i'm 100% done with the models i'll send them to you for a few Titan Legion reskins and when those are done it's release time
you'll have to talk to Kartoffel about that, i know absolutely nothing about SFM
Woahwoahwoah... Talk to Gmod4Ever about that. He knows way more about SFM than I do. Hell, he can probably make an IK rig from scratch! All I can do is bastardize them. :v:

Always happy to throw someone else under the bus. :v:
this makes it more stable. really shouldn't be in heels anyway though.
i see what you mean, but it doesn't matter if the feet touch or clip in the reference pose
Upon release, could we perhaps get a fix for the Blood Ravens Devastator? His cabling to his Heavy Bolter is difficult to work with. And on the note of models being rigged for SFM, could the general public also acquire the means to use already rigged models for the Filmmaker? I've never used SFM, and I would like to try with everything released here, I just need to find out how to upload them to the program and basically teach myself how to use it all.
Upon release, could we perhaps get a fix for the Blood Ravens Devastator? His cabling to his Heavy Bolter is difficult to work with.
when i get back to the marines i'll be sure to re-do the ammo belt rigging
Many thanks for your continued efforts.
thanks
By the way, send me a PM. I've got something for you, and I can't PM you for some reason.
I re-rigged the guardsmen to the Valve biped. I'm going to go back and redo the female guardsmen now that I know a method to preserve all of the weighting when transferring them to the new skeleton. I'll post pictures of the when I get back from the range. I also re-rigged the renegade model. Oh yeah, did I mention that these are all SFM IK compatible? :v:
Sorry for quoting this twice, but what method are you referring to when preserving weights? This would be super useful for future ports.
Sorry for quoting this twice, but what method are you referring to when preserving weights? This would be super useful for future ports.
In blender, I renamed the vertex groups and filled in the gaps with manual weighting. :v:
i see what you mean, but it doesn't matter if the feet touch or clip in the reference pose
it's not the clipping i care about; it's that it doesn't look stable. that said, you're right that it doesn't matter since it's not an animation. i kind of jumped the gun on that one.
