When they are done? Trust me dude, you'll know when.
joazz when you put your models on gmod?
it's a good thing you asked because we now have a confirmed release date 2.2.2016
To be honest, I think the progress on these guys is quite stellar.
i actually feel like i'm dedicating too much of my time to this tbh
Maybe you're not dedicating ENOUGH of your time to this :v: I kid, of course. Out of curiosity, how goes the progress on the Titans and preheresy mariners?
well i haven't done anything to either after adding the bionics bodygroups, but i've been kitbashing a Heresy/pre-Heresy era Heavy Bolter i still think i should give the Imperator's textures more detail
that's because the details on the GW models are completely exaggerated to stand out more on the ridiculously tiny characters, duh. the miniatures are completely out of proportion. didn't you notice that the head is also way oversized? trying to apply the proportions of the extremely small miniature models to properly scaled "realistic" versions is futile and just downright dumb. we aren't trying to stay true to the miniatures, we're trying to stay true to the grimdark artwork. the helmets we currently have are so far the best i've ever seen in a Warhammer game and you are a heretic. BLAM.
I see what you mean, thankyou for that.
also more progress on the trooper
You going to make a female version as well?

BLAM.
Although to be fair I was basing my observations on more than the miniatures. I was basing it off some iterations of art (unsure as to how much of it was official) and very lightly from Dawn Of War. But either way I'm probably incorrect, sorry to of posted a dim question.
well let's look at some official art then [t]http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130924175551/warhammer40k/images/d/d2/UM_Cmd._Sqd.png[/t] [t]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ukGJesBV90I/Uj9h4MwJZII/AAAAAAAAGZY/HQMBTYi_Dv4/s1600/IMGP4807.JPG[/t] [t]http://static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130626181641/warhammer40k/images/1/13/Ultramarines_Artificer_Armour2.jpg[/t] i'd say there's nothing wrong with the helmet model
You going to make a female version as well?
Once me and Cheesecurls start getting more NS2 models then i'm sure he will.
2.2.2016?! ARGH!! Oh well, the price for quality is always time, but ouch, guess ill use the black templar models way back at the start of the thread til then. Keep up the good work brothers, the Omega Marines and 3rd Captain Midas appreciate your works, mighty artisans. You could humble a Salamander with this mastercraft.
woooooooooooosh the models will be out when they're done, and i assure that's sooner than 2.2.2016
Yeah, the exact release date is 2.2.2015. :v:
Earlier than what I would've predicted.
sorry joazzz but can I ask you something? Could you help me for orks of space marines? I would like to put them on gmod npc
sorry joazzz but can I ask you something? Could you help me for orks of space marines? I would like to put them on gmod npc
If you'd like them on 'gmod npc", then do it yourself.
Joazz is more of a ragdoll guy, afaik. You'd have to find a different guy who can rig them to the valve biped and attach the proper lua coding.
so how goes the giant mech models?
updates will be posted when the developer so desires, not by the request of any third party. questions regarding the current state of development of models will be answered only with this automatic copypasted message. thank you.
You going to make a female version as well?
what good is the IG with out them! the lady is coming right after!

The Tech Gods smile upon us!
see if you could edit the UV coordinates to eliminate the stretching
iron within, iron without i'll make sure the bionics are compatible with the other armor models too [editline]7th May 2014[/editline] there weren't models of lower legs or feet so i had to put some together from parts of the stuff i already had
One question i have: Will the final release be bodygrouped to allow the mixing and matching of different armor patterns?
to a certain extent, yes, most definitely. MK1 Thunder will be its own set with not much in common (when it comes to bodygroups) with the other armours the MK3 Iron is simply an upgrade to the MK2 Crusade and their bodygroup options are somewhat limited, but the MK2 helmet can be found among the MK3 bodygroup options as you can see. MK4 Maximus will have parts from MK3 Iron and MK5 Heresy. MK5 Heresy will share parts with MK4 Maximus and MK6 Corvus, plus probably the helmet from MK3 Iron. MK6 Corvus will share parts with MK5 Heresy and possibly MK4 Maximus. MK7 Aquila (the modern standard) will use parts from MK6 Corvus and MK4 Maximus. MK8 Errant, if i make it, will probably only use bits from MK7. all will also have the fancy helmet crests (nowadays only really used by Ultramarines) and the additional shoulder armour seen on the MK3 also included, for the more modern suits, will be monk robes (Dark Angels cough) and loincloths, while Crusade/Heresy era stuff might still get those roman style... things [editline]10th May 2014[/editline] i just found this on some site. they're supposedly all the armor suits available in the SM Multiplayer but where the hell did that Librarian headgear come from? also, from the same site [t]http://bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/210357-a-space-marine-could-beat-up-your-favorite-game-hero/MK2-noscale.jpg[/t][t]http://bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/210357-a-space-marine-could-beat-up-your-favorite-game-hero/MK3-noscale.jpg[/t][t]http://bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/210357-a-space-marine-could-beat-up-your-favorite-game-hero/MK5-noscale.jpg[/t] these honestly make the stuff i've done look like shit and it's most likely concept art. to think that we almost had MK2/MK3/MK5 armor in a game...
Yeah that Librarian headgear is news to me I knew the files contained a Librarian Shoulder pad, torso, and backpack, but not any headgear to go with it (plus it's all unused anyway for some reason)
I wonder if you could find use for that rather underused thing, where various gear and whatnot are applied to the model using bone merge tools. Shoulderpads, helmets, bionic limbs etc. Say, like Bloo's BSAA guys or Hardy's Geralt. Because I imagine the total number of bodygroups and skingroups for individual model (or total number of models) by the end of it may get quite high, so won't that make things a bit easier, or is it possibly too much work?
