Ilwrath I need, nay must bear your children for these models. Epicness on a epicness epic scale! [editline]28th August 2012[/editline] Any problems with the skin I gave you?
Non, you'll find it under DarkAngel2
Non, you'll find it under DarkAngel2
Cool, I'm also currently working on the successor chapters too, I'm doing the Angels of Redemption, Angels of Absolution and thr Angels of Vengeance.
Cool, I'm also currently working on the successor chapters too, I'm doing the Angels of Redemption, Angels of Absolution and thr Angels of Vengeance.
Cool. Also, would it be possible to do the other Dark Angel companies(2nd-9th)? It would be nice to have diversity among the models that way  Just a thought.
Ok, sorry for being stupid, but I need some questions answered please and thank you. In the first picture, I see the Guardsmen all have belt accessories, but the one model in the game has a full face helmet, and the bodygroup changer does not seem to do anything. This is the same with the Lasgun (I'm assuming you use the Changer to make it not have a powercell) and the newly acquired Blood Angels. I cannot seem to find the Jumppack for the Blood Angels, even though it's amongst the mods files (I put the three different download folders into the addons folder, and named them differently I.E. Space Marines - Chaos, Space Marines - Dark Angels etc). Are the numbers 1:2, 2:4, 5:2 etc the set values you put into the bodygroup changer to switch the look of the models as listed? I tried various numbers, and the only thing that happened was a Male Guardsmans face changed a couple skins. What am I doing wrong?
everything works fine for me, it's just you try again with the bgroup changer, and this time test all the values everywhere on every model every time they're Blood Ravens btw

Though if you're saying that only faces changed, then you're right clicking. You need to set the numbers and left click. (right click cycles between texture groups) BTW folks - noticed that the generic MP textures work on the DA model. [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6252145/misc%20ports/gray_marine.jpg[/t]
[t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6252145/misc%20ports/gray_marine.jpg[/t]
Now this. This is great. On another note: I've noticed that some models fingers work very weirdly. For example, I have to move the bone for the Berzerkers "main" fingers in Source Filmmaker to make it look proper, and the bones seem to be misaligned. A known issue and something you're working on right now or didn't you know?

After toying around, I managed to find the various bodygroups. It's a shame that's how it works, kind of tedious. I do hope that these will make it into Gmod 13, as its deadline is creeping up on us. When I looked at the Gmod 13 addon files, they're all .gma, so adding these existing addons to #13 isn't possible as far as I know. Also, any news on the Angry Marines being unleashed soon? I wait anxiously to make pictures of furries and bronies being smashed.
Traditional addons work fine in gmod 13 as well as far as I remember.
And so how would someone as inexperienced as me be able to "port" these models over for Gmod 13?
And so how would someone as inexperienced as me be able to "port" these models over for Gmod 13?
AFAIK you just keep your models in the addons folder. when the GM13 update rolls around, you'll still have your stuff.
AFAIK you just keep your models in the addons folder. when the GM13 update rolls around, you'll still have your stuff.
The Gmod 13 beta key thing at the top of the menu says, "Addons will break," so, I don't think it matters if you keep them or not...
The Gmod 13 beta key thing at the top of the menu says, "Addons will break," so, I don't think it matters if you keep them or not...
Just Lua stuff and stuff that needs custom DLL's.
Just Lua stuff and stuff that needs custom DLL's.
Ah.... Yeah, I'll just leave those comments to you guys. I'm not an Lua expert, BUT, it's good to know that these models can be implemented into GM13..... Also, I have a question. I noticed in the 2nd update(Which I love btw), there is librarian staff. Did you make that or is that actually in the game, because, I do not remember seeing one of those in the game. If so, I have a request. If it can't be done, then i'm ok, BUT, there is no harm in asking. Would it be possible to make Dark Angels with their veteran, bone white robes and hoods?

Like the berzerker. As to DA robes - Well they aren't in game. But check necrobeard's SVN - the dow 2 ones might be there.

guys and gal, take the robes from some other model (oblivion cultists might be good if the models are still available somewhere) and rig them onto the DA, problem solved
Also, any news on the Angry Marines being unleashed soon? I wait anxiously to make pictures of furries and bronies being smashed.
i need to get someone to make me a fingerposable power fist prop (dreadnoughts with absolutely gigantic power fists anyone?), improve the powerfoot prop and then i'm going to make a Chaplain (complete with the middle finger Crozius). then everything's ready for release i might put together a Predator Angrinator after the release and add it to the pot
We need Power Chairs too.

Wow. I didn't mean that in an offensive/sarcastic way, i'm actually really happy to hear about that. I don't think Predator Tank models are even in the game files, so you are making it from scratch..... Atleast, I think you are, unless there is A Pred model in the game files.... Even so, I can't wait to see it, along with the other Angry Marines.
Unless he hacks the one that was ported from Dawn of War 2.
yeah was thinking about doing that, gotta improvise a bit with the launchers tho

Joazzz why are you so awesome.
Hell yeah! GJ Joazzz!
XD XD XD ANGRY MARINESSSSS!!! Nice... no.... Awesome job on those models. The Emprah would be proud.... Now if only we could get a DA chap or something..... Love the Angry Marines, but, the DA are my most favorite chapter, of all time, period, no question. To be honest, I would try rigging robes or making models myself, but I have absolutely no idea how to even make a texture :P I'm a noob/nub when it comes to porting and modelling :\
