proxies are fine. and i can make an exception and answer the question(s) no they will not be on Valve Biped. all will have the same skeleton though, so SFM users only need one IK script for all Marines no idea about the release: i still have to do MK6 and an enhanced MK7, maybe even MK8, but with my IRL schedule getting busier i'm not sure when i can work on this stuff again. i'll have to spend the next week studying and doing band stuff (writing songs, practicing etc)

I believe he's only making posing ragdolls. Someone else is going to have to rig/code animations for them.

NPC models, yes.[/QUOTE] then you're so out of luck. Space Marine proportions just don't fit the regular human-sized Valve skeleton (which should go without saying IMO)
Is there any way that you reconsider animating models? I would love for Ork models to be animated...
i can't animate and am not planning on learning to. further questions about animations will be ignored.
[QUOTE=Joazzz;44972520]oh i forgot to do that, i'll get to it tomorrow what's the deal with ragdoll mover though? physgun + joint tool should be more than enough. plus there's GMod's own bone editing tool too[/QUOTE] well i find it easier to use than the physgun because it's more precise, and the physgun has to unfreeze all the joints connected to the one that you want to move. like say i wanted to rotate or move the pelvis a bit, with the physgun you have to unfreeze everything north of the equator and then reposition it all afterwards. with the mover you just grab the pelvis and everything stays where it is while you move it, and you can use that with the stand pose STool and get stuff into the position you want no problem, more or less. it's just a bit smoother for moving limbs and joints in my opinion, and it's also really good for when you're working with stuff with shoddy hitboxes like crappily ported scenebuild props or whatever

Because unless explicitly stated otherwise, models in this section are for posing purposes only. Someone else will rig them and put them on the workshop. This section is for people who pose. Which means no, the next person who posts about working on models will not be making them NPCs unless it says that they are IN THEIR POST.

Anyone can take it and do whatever the hell they feel like doing with it. Make NPCs/Playermodels, hack it up, tweak vmt settings, I don't care what ya do. SFM only but if anyone wants the src files just pm me. Or just decompile it with crowbar if you don't wanna wait. There's no fancy flexes n shit to break, just a couple back bodygroups.
