Terminators without shoulders look funky FOOTBALL
working on textures
color masks in the works. you can also see some of the bodygroup options on the Indomitus pattern one [editline]13th August 2014[/editline] the Cataphractii texture is still going to get some more detail when i'm done with this
You know, with all the Terminator armour, I can actually imagine a Space Hulk gamemode. And if that happens I might go back to Gmod.
lacks some normal map details but otherwise p much done. i'll finish up this thing and then move on to the Tartaros armor
That combi bolter is lookin damn sexy.
the whole thing is looking damn sexy i'm beaming with so much pride that yall gonna get ultraviolet poisoning
the whole thing is looking damn sexy i'm beaming with so much pride that yall gonna get ultraviolet poisoning
I feel the melanoma coming. Skin for the skin quilt?
the whole thing is looking damn sexy i'm beaming with so much pride that yall gonna get ultraviolet poisoning
So long as I can still provide blood for the blood god, all is well. :v:
Just wondering, but are the "gear-tooth" feet on the terminators a little touch of yours, or something to have the model function?
Just wondering, but are the "gear-tooth" feet on the terminators a little touch of yours, or something to have the model function?
the actual Cataphractii miniatures seem to have feet like that and i thought that their sort of "heavier" design fit the Indomitus pattern Terminator pretty well also. probably not going to use them with the Tartaros pattern armor since they might clash with the sleek design
i made the Terminators 10% bigger, i think this scale is alright [editline]14th August 2014[/editline] also a similar scale reference shot of one of the Titans the Warlord is actually very close to done. it uses a few textures from the Imperator though so i have to finish that one before i can release this thing
These look amazing, I can't wait till you finish man.
the whole thing is looking damn sexy i'm beaming with so much pride that yall gonna get ultraviolet poisoning
My genes are screaming. But it is a good pain. :v:
I'd hate to bite the hand that feeds, but I think your previous height for Terminators was the accurate one. For reference: I think a Marine would still have to have his arms and legs fit into those parts of the Terminator armor, and that Termie armor is less tall, as it is far more bulky and armored than regular Power Armor. Another example where you can see the Marine's hands fitting into where the gauntlets would be: So in my honest opinion I think your previous scale of the plain grey Terminators on the last page was the best one.
oh well it's a matter of changing the $scale value and recompiling so it's easy to change bigger terminators are more grimdark though

Pauldrons don't look fucking insanely huge in that picture. There might be some heresy.
severe heresy also just a little update, i'll take care of the Librarian before moving onto the Tartaros Terminator, since finding the Librarian's parts might be hard and it's better to do it now than later before i do that however i'm going to work some more on the Emperor Titan's textures, i've had that on hold for too long now
welp, i can't find the Librarian's files anywhere. guess i'll have to improvise heavily
Well, there's a pack of models from DoW 2 on the Gmod Workshop. You could probably find the Librarian model there and use it as you please. c:
using DoW2 stuff of any kind is completely out of the question. too low-res on all accounts. might as well model and texture the required parts myself. if DoW2 things were good enough, i wouldn't be doing what i'm doing.
That's true. Just thought I'd try to help. :P btw, your models are godlike. I can't wait to get my hands on them when they're all finished...
Hey joazzzz ,this might help with your terminator project , i posted these here before , but these are the files for Space Hulk pc game . I extracted the models and textures with Disunity. Look through the resource files and you will find all the terminators in the game plus everything else. When i have time i plan on porting and rigging these for Xnalara . All models are in .obj format textures are in .dds. It includes levels also. Calistarius is the librarian terminator . http://www.mediafire.com/download/tukhizm6nw407sz/disunity+files.rar
yeah those came in handy, i took some of the bits when i made the Indomitus Terminator.
Do you have plans on fiddling with Fire Warrior stuff? Despite the game's old age (over 10 whopping years), there could be some useful textures and/or models (e.g. Lord of Change) in it.
lacks some normal map details but otherwise p much done. i'll finish up this thing and then move on to the Tartaros armor
The most metal Space Marines I've ever seen.
ever heard of Chaos?
Do you have plans on fiddling with Fire Warrior stuff? i might plan on modeling some sort of tau fire caste out of scratch for practice.. ive always had a boner for their designs. but godamn they are hard to play(if you particularly suck on the tabletop)
if someone else was to actually fully properly do the Tau side of things it would be a great help for me [editline]17th August 2014[/editline] i also decided recently that Dreadnoughts will be a separate release entirely, to speed up the whole project a little and to get things out to the community faster

Have devilfishes die. Use resulting cover to hammer anything anyone wants to use against you
