well the Imperial Guard's primary battle tank is based on the blueprint files of a heavy tractor and we don't know the Thunderhawk gunship's exact origins so that might not be too far off...

i'm torn between using that and porting the thing myself to make sure the scale is right argh
gave the Thunderhawk some interior [img]http://files.1337upload.net/thunderhawk_fronthatch-548b29.jpg[/img] the front hatch is rigged and so are the landing gear legs, for animation purposes. i even gave the engine turbines their own bones for spinning and the laser cannon has a joint for simulating recoil. the thing has bodygroups for extended and retracted landing legs because you can't really retract the things in GMod even with the joint tool the bolters won't be rigged until i've replaced their models with something better [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] tomorrow i'll make backups of all this progress, can't really risk a drive failure [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] i'll expand the interior later, this is an early version. might even try and see if i can get the version from the SM game intro sequence
That's so, so awesome. These vehicles[I] (even if just as props)[/I] are going to have so much use on the WH40K role-play server when you finally compile a release.

the Killa Kan was, according to some, ultimately featured in one of the Co-Op modes, as was the psyker model can't confirm because i never got to really play the co-op but both of the models can be found in the game files [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] kinda makes me wish the Rhino was somewhere in there too, but eh, the DoW2 version is good enough, just needs some tuning and detail

I've never actually been able to find models for the IG vehicles (not counting the aircraft) Just some bits and pieces.
I know someone ported a Basilisk and Baneblade from Dow 1 among other things, but they're pretty low-res. That's really about it, as far as I know.

most likely not, or if it was, no-one on the internet has found it yet we could combine the Space Marine Basilisk base with the DoW2 Chimps to make a higher quality Chimps though

I could of sworn I saw a chimera in SM, it's was right before the level where you were riding on a Valkyrie and shooting down Storm boyz. Though it could have been a salamander.

People already asked about them, Joazzz said he will do them, but after he will be done with most of the thing he's working on, which means, you'll not see a Grey Knight model that quickly.
Is there a link for all of the models in format 3DS MAX can handle? I want to print out a marine on my SLA printer is super detail.

Space marine models (would love vehicles too). I will be printed the models of space marines in dynamic poses at about 6" height.
i'm not releasing jack shit for anyone before all this stuff is done so you'll have to wait you can use Wraith's and Nirrti's Marines from the first page though
still making the Basilisk for Jenkins. Armageddon pattern style enclosed hull included as a bodygroup [img]http://files.1337upload.net/armageddonbasilisk-2b0033.png[/img] both of the hatches will have bones for opening and closing, as will the breech, and the top hatch will have a bodygrouped Heavy Bolter/Heavy Stubber (HMG), as will the forward gun port. i'll also add a bunch of other stuff, like the massive door at the back. the cannon will have bodygroups for the normal boomstick and a fat heavy bombard. tracks will get animated skingroups for SFM users. i've decided now that when the Marine project is ready and released, i'll do Orks. but at the same time i'll do a joint Imperial Guard project with Jenkins, mostly taking care of the vehicles (TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKS!) and assisting with assets for the infantry. i'm hoping we can do Cadians, Armageddon Steel Legion, Death Korps, Valhallans and Catachans. Mordian Iron Guard and Vostroyans would rule too. model selection will be well thought out, so we'll be getting all the appropriate looking Guardsmen and Whiteshields and Grenadiers and vehicle crews and such. and yes, all the possible Baneblade variants will be made, and everything will follow the Space Marine scaling meaning even the good ol Leman Russ will be properly huge and the Baneblade will be absolutely fucking enormous. come on the chassis can equip Titan grade weaponry, of course it'll be the size of a house [editline]11th September 2014[/editline] oh and i haven't made a single new texture for this. all the custom-modeled new parts use different spots of the same Basilisk textures, because i'm just that pro
