drag the file from the folder onto the 3d viewport and it should apply automatically

I can't quite recall if this was asked/answered beforehand, and if it was then excuse my ignorance, but have you considered doing Imperial Knights(Errants, Paladins, Castigators, Lancers, etc.)at one point Joazzz? Definitely not a must compared to all of the brilliant work you've put in this project, but it would be pretty cool regardless. Although I could imagine something like that would take alot of custom parts and stuff, so I would totally understand if this was never on your list of things to begin with.

Awesome. i think there is a stormblade model in dawn of war. maybe you can work off of that.
Actually, the Stormblade is part of a mod pack. if you have heard of the Ultimate Apocalypse , that's the pack. i think it also includes a thunderhawk transporter
Joazzz do know about Ultimate Apocalypse, he even worked on the Reaver model for that mod.
Yeah... Had a feeling that he was involved in that. Does he plan on using some of the old assets? I saw a lot of tanks, (That stormhammer though...) plus those death riders. Still, its Joazzz that makes this stuff, so its his decision. Anything he makes is still 100 times better than what we have right now
i'm using as little DoW1 stuff as possible, custom or not. i'll rather model the new parts myself.

there's virtually no difference in the outside appearance, but there's a mesh with a transparent texture over the pauldron itself. previously the symbol was part of the base texture, now it uses its own. this way you can just recolor the base texture without having to worry about overlaying the symbols onto the armor itself and then simply go and reskin the Chapter badge texture and it applies automatically. this also allows for normal mapping as you can see
the armor and vehicle badges use separate textures, so if you want to have an ornate shoulder symbol while keeping a more militaristic and utilitarian style for the vehicles, go ahead

Although I believe the green color is a bit too bright and reflective for the Dark Angels, that really doesn't matter right now when you've got those [I][B][U]BEAUTIFUL[/U][/B][/I] robes.
The chest piece is also magnificent. ^^
i actually googled for "Dark Angels Green" and got a few pics of flat green color of that shade, so i used that
