Hard
I love these- I wonder how hard it would be to port the animations from the original game too?
no idea, i only know of modding tools designed for getting the meshes and their skeleton. the original animations probably wouldn't work 100% with my versions either, because i've modified the skeletons a little

If these guys were modified to be on Valve Biped (can't remember if they were or not), then it would be a simple matter of compiling them with citizen/combine animations. They'd probably look like ass, but it could be done.
They would most definitely look like ass and it would also defeat the purpose of having a crapload of bodygroups
Wouldn't that require scaling them to combine/resistance size? Yeah they'd look like complete ass. Unless you're going for "commander/comissar who got power armour", then they're ever so slightly less assy.
I was wondering more if it could be rigged it to the animations in space marine, if the extractors support it

you can't keep the scale or the proportions there's a way to alter the proportions of a playermodel skeleton, but i'll look into that later
Joazz, do you have some album you could upload filled with all of these pictures/poses you made? I'd like to view them but most of them aren't on your DA (or atleast last time I checked).
At one point, my friend told me Facepunch was going there and there was a fuzz about a wipe or something. I rushed in this thread and saved most, if not all pictures. So, here's an "Album" with all the pictures. As I said, it may miss one or two. I keep on saving the new pictures, Joazz' uploades. Holy shit, that's alot of images.
it's not much, but it's something. MK5 armor showcase coming soon also, found something ancient from... summer 2013?!?!?!? i've been at this for THAT long??? [t]http://files.1337upload.net/WorldEaters.jpg[/t] [t]http://files.1337upload.net/WorldETerminators.png[/t] the very first drafts [editline]9th April 2015[/editline]
At one point, my friend told me Facepunch was going there and there was a fuzz about a wipe or something. Oh, off topic, when you do the mordian iron guard, why dont you base your uniform off of Lt_commander's sci fi citizens?
i suppose that could work MK V "Heresy" armor - for when you don't have complete sets and have to put together a frankenstein suit with salvaged parts and hastily bolted on extra armor also introducing the Legion/Chapter war standard; generously rigged by a certain norwegian ninja only the MK6 left to do... or showcase, because the model itself is done then i'll make the Legion Praetors, both Terminator and regular power armor versions. they'll just be normal MK III/MK IV armor with some fancy extra bits on, so it won't take long then i'll just have to finish the vehicles. when the retexturing phase starts i'll be working on Legion/Chapter-specific assets and detail props, armor pieces etc. and let's not forget the heads!
MK VI "Corvus" armor - initially designated the MK V and only issued to the Raven Guard (and Alpha Legion, they stole it), dis 'ere'z da sneakiest beakie plate 'round all basic (non-terminator) armor sets done, both for Horus Heresy and 40k. i'll go through them and check if there's anything to fix and then i'll make the HH era Legion Praetors
Those look friggin amazing.
Joazz you are amazing. Have you thought about doing xenos?
Orks will be done next, along with the Astra Militarum/Imperial Guard Eldar will be done after Chaos Marines
Goddamn this is going to be epic. Hopefully i can make an animation out of this someday.
when the models are ready, i'll be looking for SFM animators who could make a promo video for the model pack. it would have to show the Great Crusade with the Legions fighting against Orks (DoW2) and random xenos as well as unseen, off-screen enemies; the Horus Heresy, with huge scenes of Space Marines slaughtering eachother with extreme brutality, and Legion vehicles and Titans tearing into the rampaging masses and eachother; and modern times, with the Marines of different Chapters battling Eldar and Tyranids (DoW2 models)

a bit early for that besides, all volunteering reskinners/SFM makers/other guys will need to provide proof of past work for me to approve before i let anyone do anything [editline]15th April 2015[/editline] so, an official Warlord Titan 40k scale... "miniature" was just teased i can't let this slip by, i'll need to make a mock-up for the Titan pack before they can be released. i can probably use Knight parts for it... once i've made Knights
a teaser for some of the crap the extra super spiky traitor versions of the Traitor Legions will get the horns will be exclusive to the Word Bearers
I guess someone is feeling horny :v:

You sir are a scholar and a gentleman thanks.
a bit of Titan stuff to pass the time; i'm preparing a scene showing the Word Bearers pillaging Ultramar and needed some Titans, so i decided to make a few Legion reskins so far i have Legio Audax the Ember Wolves (Traitor) and Legio Astorum the Warp Runners (Loyal) the Audax color scheme i invented myself, since there aren't official pics showing any of that Legion's engines; the Betrayer novel mentioned red and black so i tried to make something intimidating with those colors the Astorum Warhound looks suspiciously Smurf-ish doesn't it? i'm still not sure about how i should release the Titans. on one hand, i still have to finish the Emperor subtypes, make a Lucius pattern Reaver, finish the Lucius pattern Warhound and make the Knight-like official Forge World-designed Warlord Titan... whenever we get more pics of that. but on the other hand, the Lucius pattern Warlord, Mars pattern Reaver, Mars pattern Warhound and the old Epic-style Mk1 and Mk2 Warlord Titans are all just about finished and ready for action. how should i go about this? i wouldn't want to release a pack of Legions with an unfinished selection of war engines and later release updates that would include the missing Titans, that would be somewhat clumsy ideas?
You could always have an individual release for each Titan class (along with any legion colour schemes it might have), assuming of course that there aren't any textures being shared between models.
the Warlords and Emperor share a lot of textures, but the Mars-pattern Reaver and Warhound keep to themselves, so to speak i could release the two lighter Titan classes and put the bigger ones out later. however i'll still have to finish the Lucius pattern versions of both before that can be done
