Still cant figure out the santos scripts and i get this error but 3dsmax still works. I dont know if its because im using the student version or if its something else. well these aren't exclusive to the Ultras the actual "Praetor pattern" power armor will be though, can't wait to get to making that
Im still having issues with max and getting the scripts to work. so getting the DOW2 crisis battlesuit models weapons and drones as well as possible tyranids later on isnt possible right now with my limited experience. Blender though i think has scripts for the 1st dawn of war games which i think ill try. i just dont quite want to make models out of complete scratch and would like atleast referance models to work off of. I really want to DOW 2 tau stuff because its much more detailed. The preator looks great. EDIT: Hey Joazzz not sure if this has been addressed but do the Chainswords teeth move?

Im glad to say i am not a complete dumbass and finally figured out how to import the models into 3ds max 2014 after much trail and error, and i can help anyone if they too are also having problems. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/6rJzgeR.png[/IMG] now i need to figure out how these programs work :D

There ain't that many left in existence, so yeah its probably pre-heresy
So im torn between modeling with blender or 3ds max so i think ill go with blender if anyone has experience with that. i just dont have time to try and learn both. EDIT: Actually i think a good question to ask what people are going to use if there helping me out? I still got a long way to go before i can churn out anything Joazzz quality. i just need to figure out where to start.

the plasma cannon and drive console/handlebars & seat cushions are from Space Marine and Storm of Vengeance, respectively the rest i modelled myself. the wings and some of the uncolored parts use DoW1/2 textures

Like how the standard Rhino is a "Mars Pattern" while the Heresy-era model is the "Deimos Pattern."
i have noticed that.
now that i've gone back to the vehicles i thought it was time to tune and flesh out the Horus Heresy Land Raider i've put together [img]http://files.1337upload.net/landraidercrap-689fee.jpg[/img] it borrows elements from all three main Land Raider types - the old Proteus, the standard Phobos, and the Spartan Assault Tank - to create a pretty versatile hybrid that looks ancient enough i'm going to give it a few more hull bodygroups so it can masquerade as a laser tank destroyer or a siege gun vehicle
