Importing F-zero GX ships - Developers

So whats going on with the Captain Falcon and Mr. Zero models?

Yes, texturing those models is pretty hard. now i'm busy with other *fire emblem related* projects, so I'm not going to work on GX falcon for a while. I wish I had more time...

About Mr.zero I'll upload it to see if someone is capable to create a new hand for him and rig it (I tried but no luck). And about the textured models ill do it too, at least the first ones(It will take a while though).

Well, here it is, Mr.zero as I ripped from the game, so it needs lots of tweaks, etc... [URL]http://www.mediafire.com/?3bjrgdr357i8ifq[/URL] I include all the textures I could think its from him, so if you found one that is not there, tell me and ill find it (there's a .tga I made because I didn't found one of them). About texturing the Fzero ship models, yeah, is difficult, but is that, trial and error :\. And for an unrelated note...: [IMG]http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/8152/billyhat.jpg[/IMG] Looking for a tutorial to make custom hats for TF2 I couldn't resist the idea to make Billy Hatcher's hat :v:.(No release though, but maybe I'll drop some Billy Hatcher models). By the way, if someone is fixing Mr.zero, please try to fix the helmet, that could be a nice TF2 hat too.

I would be happy enough to have the GX Falcon as a ragdoll. I mean before we thought it wasn't possible to get models from this game.

How do you convert 3dr to mdl to make them work for gmod, or is there a download link of your four ported ships ? EDIT : If there is or if you post a download link of these four ships, I'll be more than happy and I don't agree with you when you say you rip ships really bad, these ships are perfect.

Can you rip the stages too? OR can you tell me how you f@#$%ng do this. Been searching how to extract/convert .lz .tpl .arc and all the other crap i dont know how to deal with for many years. I have an extracted ISO ready [for many damn years]. PLEase tell me.

A Captain Falcon player model would be cool, I would be suprised if someone did Pico or Octoman :o

That game had so many awesome characters. I personally want Princia Ramode, Lily Flyer, and Pico.

(I never unlocked him :( )
