Would it be too much to ask for someone to rip some foliage and rocks?some of those models would be wonderful to stick in a map.
Can you rip us the Desert Eagle, please!
Thanks a lot! :D

Got tired of searching if someone has got Citra, so I did it myself :)
Im busy working on Liza, Daisy, Citra+Citra nude :) Im only using max for getting the models the rest is done in Maya. Doing skinning takes some time...
Ripped with Ninja ripper http://cgig.ru/ninjaripper/
The Uvs are a mess, If anyone wants to know the settings for importing it into max : Choose your .rip models then change the uv/vertex settings to manual and use 4 and 5 as the uvs the rest you can leave at default, now you just need to scale down Uvs and centre them properly over texture. I used Gibbed Tools Dunia 2 GUI-1.03 for extracting the game archives to get the untouched textures, that tool also converts them to .dds textures. If anyone is struggling to get the normal maps working I can write up a quick tutorial :)
Would be nice to see a tool that can completely rip the models with bones but im no programmer im just an artist :)
"now you just need to scale down Uvs and centre them properly over texture."...
... Don't understand this part... Can you explain more?
Thanks.

Thanks so much kamikaze_88, At last a very good tutorial, I have all understood. Thank you for taking the time to answer me. Just need to practice now! :)
One last thing, how did you decide the uv / vertex had to be set to 4 and 5?
@ kamikaze_88 Any chance for download link on Citra?
@ gogoldorak For these specific models, 4 and 5 for the UV settings, doesn't skew or squash the uv's . The default settings(automatic) works for most other games, or so it is said by the creator of the tool, but the default doesn't work well for far cry3.
@ snp Sure I can upload it. Just give me a good free place where I can upload it. I also dont want to get into trouble for uploading them, ive never done this sort of thing hehe. One other thing, im still busy making sure all materials are ok, because I used mia_materials(mental ray) which doesnt get recognized when exporting and importing into a different software like max. So I have to convert all my materials to standard materials.
Also im using fbx format to export to, which most major 3D software recognizes. If there is a specific format you want, let me know, and I will see what I can do :)
Liza Snow Renders with normal maps applied :)

You can pretty much use all kind of hosters. mediafire, dropbox etc. developers dont really hunt down people who rip models from their game, as far as we/you dont make money out of the models. Just take a look at facepunch in the gmod section, so much ported models. I recommend mediafire for this stuff. Also: you dont need to setup materials for us for 3dsmax, we're going to import them into the source engine anyways which dont support these materials aswell. Just include all the textures + model files and it's fine.
nice work btw

I try make one today :)
@ kamikaze_88 Re-checked your post with Citra, did you manually rigged here? Also I see that you're on Maya :D
@ kamikaze_88 Re-checked your post with Citra, did you manually rigged here? Also I see that you're on Maya :D
Yes, I used HumanIK for the rig, skinned her and painted weights.
I try to use Maya for everything I do, I hate Max I get enough hassles with it at work :D Im more quick and comfortable with Maya.
The weights are not perfect/done yet, I will be releasing the models with textures unrigged shortly. In Max format and OBJ with textures folder.
Great! Yea somehow Maya feels more fluid for me also, Max just for import/export scripts. Will prolly try to rig/paint the damn weights on Blender once you put the model on, I'm moving more easy on rigging/morphing with Blender.
Sorry for taking so long, ive uploaded Citra nude version to http://www.mediafire.com/?xvc8t50db9c2q
Password: facepunch
The tutorial is still uploading, about 2 hours :( we have extremely slow landline internet in south africa.
Also the video is about 30min :S excuse me if it bores you too much :D I didnt had time to make it shorter etc. I hope it helps ;)
edit: forgot to add that the 3ds max file is version 2012, i forgot to add a fbx version, once the is uploaded I will make the changes to the mediafire link.
Cool, it's possible to publish Liza ?
Cool, it's possible to publish Liza ?
Sure, once im done uploading the tut vid, I can upload Liza Snow. just be patient with my crappy internet :)
Worked a bit on Citra, got the basic rigging on her and before I could save any more progress Maya crashed, oh here we go again through all the things..fuuuuun.
Here is the tutorial for whoever wanted to know how to get your own models and get the textures working http://youtu.be/iveE8QLnM6Q :)
Sorry if it is too long, i didnt had alot of time to edit etc. At the end of video there is some renders of Citra. Enjoy :)
Password : facepunch
Added link to my mediafire account for Liza Snow http://www.mediafire.com/?xvc8t50db9c2q
The hair for Liza and the eyelashes on both models have a .exr format for the texture, you can change this in photoshop or something to a png or tiff with alpha channel
I have resaved both models with max version 2010, so it should open on max 2010-2013, included is the obj files aswell.
Enjoy! :)
Thank you so much. Great tutorial. Really helped me "get on my feet", so to speak.
