[/QUOTE] I have all the re5 models ripped and catalogued, except each one contains 3 different versions of each model, some are packed in 6's or higher and ones like jill need all the verts merging otherwise her face will look cracked apart, that's why there isn't much of an update on it.
heres my exact method 1 - i open my bbres with brawl box to check the textures and see whether or not its what i want 2 - i open the same bbres with the brmdl viewer ([url]http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9F181MWP[/url]) 3 - i use 3dvia printscreen to rip the model being displayed in the brmdl viewer. it automatically saves my model in a 3dxml format im my doc's. 4 - i use Koichi Senada's 3dsmax plugin ([url]http://www.4shared.com/account/file/73058444/38b9faf/KoichiSenada3dsMaxConvertXML20081125.html[/url]) to import the 3dxml into max. The only drawback to this is that in the brmdl viewer, it only lets you use 1 texture file (thats why claire's hair is messed up) so you have to re-map it. The models i have posted use only 1 texture file, so i was able to import them and save right away.

On the cataloging, anything that stats with P is a player/good guy, and anything that starts with an E is an enemy. After the first letter its pretty much the first few letters of the name. Example - ELK1=Enemy, LicKer, 1st model variant. PCL4 = Player, CLaire, 4th variant (in this case 4th costume.)

Are you planning to eventually get through it? I'm willing to help you anyway I can if you are.

I'm willing to help you anyway I can if you are.[/QUOTE] yeah its the extractor and the fact it exports the model as .obj's 9 out of ten times will have flipped polys so they have to be re-flipped. And yeah should be able to get through it all i need to do with bsaa Jill is merge the verts on the face and she's ready for rigging.

XD And yeah, I can't believe how fast the Darkside Chronicles models got ripped!
And not only that i've finished with the list of all the models in DSC and there are loads, however it means the army of umbrella pack can pretty much be released in its entirety which is a serious plus side to the project. As for STARS Chris i'll add him to the requests.

Any idea on how to fix claire's hair and eye texture maps?
Only idea I can think of would be to totally re-uv map it, I can do that like a pro in maya but max I can only do basic uving, other than that i'm stumped for ideas. At the moment I can't do any model extracting into max because i need max 9 to use the plugins(I use 8 for rigging) so Until I get that I can't do anything apart from document the models which sucks majorly >.<

i have max 2010 i could probably convert all the models to maya with the right plugin. or i could just export the models i have so far to a format maya can use.

Gonna upload this to gmod.org soon when I have more models to add with it so think of this as small addition to your resident evil ragdoll collection before i put it up in the releases section.
