The Wii doesn't have have exactly what I'd call next-gen graphics, but it still looks great.

i'm currently using both normal maps and exponent textures that capcom created so its making my life a lot easier...however the damn model is making my life a bitch out of every set of models i really hate the re5 ones their so damn evil when it comes to weighing them >.<

Wow, nice job so far! Yeah...I've heard the weighting is a bitch... but still looks good :D Just wondering, will those white "tear" bits sorta be fixed in the final one? (If not it's alright).

Yeah all the parts of the re5 models just make it a hassle when rigging because they fly all over the place, the white parts is where I have overdone the rimlighting just need to tone that down

Nah I have plans to grab all the other people from DR too, including Otis I know I'll be having fun blowing that guy up in GMOD. Same here I can't wait till DR2 comes out either there had better be a small cameo from frank after all he's covered wars ya know =P

Since this thread is about RE models, has anyone seen the Mercenaries Ada from RE4 anywhere? I know someone ported it quite a while ago but I haven't been able to find it.
If its the one i'm thinking of EgoKart 64n ported it, but after he decided to 'quit' yet again he removed all links to everything he ported however someone else may have the model lying around who wouldn't mind uploading it. If all else fails i'll port it again.
If it's just the model you need, I can get it, but if you need the rigged, ready for gmod files, I don't know. Check this pack out, it may have her in it.

Megaupload or Filefront. You can also upload it on Garrysmod but you need to make an account and I'm sure if Mario wasn't banned he'd throw a bitchfit about it.

gah.... i got a nastyass virus on my computer that i STILL haven't fully recovered from. It was one of those scareware fake antivirus things like the System Security virus. I managed to manually remove it, but for some reason i got some bullshit adware in the process. Every time i click on a google link it goes to some damn advertising site (uniquesearch8 or some shit). May sound dumb but does anyone know a way to get rid of this without reinstalling windows?? -_-
Which version of Windows are you using? if Vista, it is as easy as loading a restore point from a time before you where infected. You simpy need to type restore in the start menu or search in the help & support for restore point and run the program and select a date before you where infected. If XP then you will need to disconnect from the internet and manually uninstall the spyware and use programs like MRT and or anti virus to remove it and then manually install windows updates/ (your)anti virus updates using a second computer. Usually that type of malware installs itself and prevents you from updating windows/ av; there are sites that detail the general process but it is lengthy. I've fixed two machines with this in the past and both where running xp; it is more vulnerable to this form of attack. If you don't want the headache it might be easy to back up your important data and then wipe your machine and start over.

i think the main focus at the moment is the DSC models, if i remember correctly, the re5 models have problems with flipped polys.
