Not even Birkin is safe from the might of Frank =P he still needs a bit more fixing but shouldn't be too difficult.
I knew he covered more than wars!
I thought it was the UBCS or something... Umbrella Bio-hazard Counter-Measure Service or something like that... Been so long.
I'm really looking forward to the Outbreak stuff now! The cop dude was awesome looking. And then you've got stuff like the Zombie Elephant boss. Yes! So much more terrifying than a tank in L4D. On account of it bein an elephant an all, y'know?

If you mean his human form, Its a possability that it could be remade with alot of heavy modifications, if ya mean his first infected form there is a model for it since you have to fight him.
i meant his first infected form but thanks
Wait, so you can't get human Birkin from Umbrella or Darkside chronicles? I thought with the nintendo versions of the series they rendered all the cut-scenes in game rather than play videos like they did with the horrible PS2 port of RE4?
in DSC Birkin was only in CGI and there's no way in hell that can be grabbed, according to the UC files all the cutscenes were only movie files so again he can't be nabbed as a model same as Irons.
then how goes progress on mr. and ms. ashford
O.o.... since when did I say or show anything related to them? There not gonna be in the taster pack, I'll get round to them after I release the pack i'm releasing a few weeks.
well i recall seeing some pictures of a alfred model....lets just pretend i never said anything <.< >.>

on a lighter note...while browsing project umbrella i found this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nuy1x4y_Kf0&feature=channel and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KvnbBaXBc0
and all i could say was damn josh kicks ass
Yeah that would be the one....zombiemoose+ ported if you looked closely ¬_¬, I haven't even ported those yet nevermind half the model collection what do you think I am a machine or something?
So, I'm working on ripping all the DSC models at the moment. I have them ripped, but I just need to apply textures... When I try applying textures in 3DS Max 2009, all I get is a gray area. The texture doesn't appear... I'm not sure what's going on.
I take it the textures are all in .dds files? Then convert them into .tga and re-apply them and they should work I said this before.

You work like one :v:
I'm just keeping an eye out for when Clarie hits the downloads, I doubt she's the only thing on your list though (Obviously).

Alright, the textures are all in .tga format, but I can't get them to stick to the model correctly. They look very strange... Do I have to unwrap the model and apply them that way, or is their a simpler way?

You shouldn't have to unwrap them, if their like that then the uv's are screwed up and that can take hours to fix manually your best bet is to rip them again and keep trying until the uv's work.
little update from me, I've managed to rig another model however i'm not revealing what it is so ya gonna have to wait until i release the pack =P, this is the last model i'll be doing for the pack until after its released but I may add a few more in as a added extra.

Hi, can somebody help me with this? I ripped models from Resident Evil 3 with 3DripperDX and when I import them to 3DSMax they look like wooden. I am not good with this program yet, is there anyways I can smooth them out to look like in the game? Thanks! :)

go into editible mesh, select polygon mode hit ctrl + a to select all polys and look for the rollout(the massive list of things in the right hand window) that says smoothing groups(should be right near the bottom) it should have 30 numbers underneath click any one to apply smoothing groups to the mesh.
RE3 Rips...?
You might want to rip RE3 Jill from REmake, but (DS)DXP has already done that.

i was thinking the same thing about teh REmake re3 jill
Ah the classic models will always hold a place in my heart no matter how advanced technology comes, they have some sort of charm about them for what they look like minus the low poly count but that's nothing, seeing this has made me want to go on a quick nostalgia play so I think i'll play the original game "that was to close you were almost a....Jill sandwich =P

Thanks for your help! For some reason though when I try to convert her to edible mesh or poly the words "edible mesh" don't appear under modifyer list. It seems not to be working for these models, :sweatdrop: oh well....
