Yeah sorry dude =/ being so busy with coursework so ain't had as much time to get something rar'd for ya to work on I promise to give ya something by the end of this evening.
No problem man. Thanks for sending some stuff. I started working on "Umbrella's End" Chris and it had a lot of fucked up UV map problems. So far I've re-UV mapped all of them except for the boots as you can see.. I think I'm just going to steal boots from another model. A lot of the other models have the same UV issues in certain areas so it'll take me awhile to fix them all.

I had to find the location of where the eye slot was and push all the verts manually out, however the other rip I did I captured with the eye wide open.

there is, nude models aren't gonna be released by me I have better standards than that, only thing people will be getting off me is the original models nothing more nothing less.
I haven't gotten to see Barry's new model in action (I'm dirt poor). Is his new model all that different from his GC one? I can't imagine the poly count going up a substantial amount, maybe he'd have a higher res skin.

Just look at the headhacked version I did that's all it really is, ain't nothing different apart from textures being more hi res. Poly count is actually LOWER than the Remake models their roughly around 13k however 5 models are only like 9000 polys per character, which in terms of detail is quite incredible.

If I get round to it I will, as for the Barry textures nah there just the RE-make ones increased in resolution, which I think imo is was capcom did anyway I mean why remodel a character when ya can use the original model just change bits and pieces here and there?
Capcom is the master of reusing old content.

That's a shame... the model really isn't using the old textures, maybe the old poly model but I think with new textures, you can see that his jacket is just a converted Chris STARS jacket. Plus all RE5 textures are at 1024x1024 where as the old ones were only 150-512 pixels.
Shame we can't rip the DLC! :/

Then they would have to animate. I heard the dsdxp say he didn't want to take alot of time doing the animation if i am correct, maybe i heard wrong.
They could have custom animations, but the easiest way to make a player model is to decompile a citizen skeleton and rig it to the model.
It can be a very annoying process to some people.

I can rig the models to the valve skeleton, I made REmake Wesker into a npc but I ain't released that yet, player models require a few lines of code to include player anims in the .qc file but again I ain't had time to look into this process plus it requires code to be in a specific place within the .qc file otherwise a whole load of crap can occur.
In all honesty though I prefer rigging to my own skeleton just means I put a bit more effort in rather than using an already existing skeleton.
Time for me to update you guys, as of tomorrow I'm finished for uni for a couple of weeks, so I shall be doing some rigging as well as pushing the last bits of my coursework out so they are finished when I go back.
