Like "ljonny" said these aren't for Garry's Mod, they need to be ported/rigged...
I already saw someone working on these so expect these soon, Far as I have seen the quality for now is poor... Come to think of it, I can't really say anything abut the quality it's still beta so there could be changes. But yes there's progress...

....understand that .obj files and in [b]t-pose[/b] mean just that, trying to shove those in gmod ain't gonna work. As a update i've started to document all the file formats into a guide expect a teaser of said guide hopefully tomorrow, and IF i have some spare time expect a few updates.
hey dsdxp i was wondering about the request i mentioned earlier about rigging rebecca, i was wondering if it was possible to have rebecca be face and eye poseable. because i love the rebecca model but i would love to have her express emoition and bring a lot more to the model. if it is not possible then please just let me know

i came across this tool called bones pro and remembered that alot of the time that was being put into these characters was being spent on skinning, the second link has an old version of this tool that works with versions of 3ds max up to 2008, the latest version, 4.2 i think, costs about $500 but hasnt made alot of improvements. Im not advocating piracy, but if you have 3ds max 2009 or 2010 it might be worth torrenting... Long story short it looks like the ultimate tool for rigging characters, it can even convert itself back to a skin modifier. So just go through the first link and look around on their site. Just wanted to share since it looks pretty amazing...

meh i'm sticking to my own rigs, looking at that is like taking the lazy way out and as far as I can recall i'm not lazy, and by using said program where is me learning how to refine a rig coming from if a program does it all for me? thanks anyways.
it doesnt make the rig for you, its a different modifier that lets you insert meshes under the skin in areas like the shoulder and the elbow to make the mesh deform realistically and do away with clipping

even if it does all that pretty stuff i never trust a program to do it for me there is so many things a program can do but sometimes it does things badly and believe me i've used a few in my time.

No that's the map rendered in maya porting it into hammer is the last thing on my mind.

I've been messing around with it and its pretty nice but its better to do what you can with a skin modifier then import the skin into the bones pro modifier. whats really cool are the para bones, but its doubtful those could import correctly into most game engines. I would give it an A+ but its not worth $500.

another reason why I [b]Won't[/b] use it not really useful for games designers if they invest in a program that cannot or may not import into a games engine kind of defeats the point of porting them into a [b]Games[/b] engine doesn't it?
Quick little thing I modelled:

first two renders were done in maya, 2nd two were grabbed from crazy bump with spec and normal/bump maps applied. Since Capcom never actually remade the box like the ones seen in the original resident evil games this is my custom version created from scratch, Might release this in the pack.
What do you mean you might release it. What else are you going to use it for?
