:snip: for meme junk.
There are sites available that allow users to download mods from the Steam workshop outside of the Steam client, so it's possible to download from the Steam workshop.
Reviving a semi-dead thread here; Looks like someone ported the Working Joe over here for SFM. As such, I made a thing real quick. It's a shame this guy probably won't be porting any of the other characters :(
A little more added to the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpxbqtzoAaE& Also, Magister_Yoda if you're still here, are you still working on the Alien:Isolation models?

Hello, can anyone to extract the NOSTROMO ship in obj format with textures please ? Thanks a lot
I really would like to see Diane Verlaine ported or raw doesnt matter

I was looking for this thread! Anyway yeah, I got the mesh via ninjaripper x32 with a dx11 hook - the raw output was about 500MB, ~1500 meshes and 2000 dds files to sort through. All meshes were duplicated at least once, UVs were rescaled, flipped, and offset at random, and the mesh was split along hard edges and material groups so the custom normals that makes the props shine was destroyed. The worst part, though, is that there is no explicit diffuse/normal/specular for most textures as the model authoring took advantage of 'medium poly' techniques, where details normally unwrapped and normalmapped are instead modeled and textures are just pattern overlays - the texture assignments are lost in the ripping process. After a fair bit of work, this is the most I was able to extract from the base game - the AO was 512x512, so even that had to be rebaked in the end. I was able to rip the tracker because I basically reauthored everything but the base geometry. In short, unless somebody releases a porting tool that preserves more model data then ninjaripper, the chance for large scale ports from this game by general modders is slim to none.

Every meshpart have simple color with assigned AO texture
Nice work, Lt_C! A worthy addition to the Alien Isolation SFM Models folder!

Is there any chance of more models being exported from Alien Isolation and possibly converted for use in Source Filmmaker? I really want to make some videos using Source Filmmaker or something similar. So far I've managed to re-create a room from the Torrens untextured in Unreal Engine (and others) as well as use the Xenomorph and Taylor model in Source Filmmaker to do some tests. I'd really like to make some kind of alternate ending cutscene (I know how to create the USM video formats for the game, I made some alternate game intros a while back) by animating the first person Ripley model along with a model of Verlaine and Connor, but I've had real issues exporting the textures from the game. If anyone could help I'd be very appreciated! My Twitter is @MattFiler or my Steam is MattFiler if you could get in contact.
If you read LT_C's post on the previous page, he explained that the only way to get levels and objects was through ripping them, but that causes a whole heap of issues that are not worth trying to fix, so unless a dedicated ripping tool is made it's unlikely you'll see anything get ported.

I'm just stuck with converting the textures, it has been done before to create the models in this thread and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Here's a screenshot of an early version of my untextured Torrens room to prove extracting the level models does work: http://i.imgur.com/uDdfKOe.png I actually went quite far with completing that and branched out into creating a bit more of the ship using the Dying Light mod tools: https://youtu.be/mKtLFl00O94

Any kind soul managed to grab any of the AI interiors and could share them. Textured if possible but untextured is ok.
So who has the M41A and any update on the space suit?
I have already written a pak unpacker for textures [t]http://puu.sh/c6qzn.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/c6qEX.png[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/c6wRO.jpg[/t] I might release it depends really on a few things, for one I don't own the game borrowing a friends account since he wanted me to take a look at the archives. If anyone is genuinely interesting in getting assets out of this game your more than welcome to contact me but right now I have no motivation to do any more
Have you managed to get some of the environments ripped from AI, i would love to get hold of the interiors.
