I find it amazing how often this thread derails into flame wars. Long as shit gets done though...

What corra said about spartan_094 is true. I'm sure he the same person (the personality is the same, attitude), he also did the same with the halo 3 and halo ODST stuff, on FP, about the Elite textures and more, showing off, etc.
Say Antisaint, didn't you have some highpoly models that weren't fit for Halo CE (the grenade launcher for example)? How would Garry's Mod react to those ingame, seeing as it uses a newer engine than CE's and all...

There were textures for a couple covenant weapons and the missile pod as well. Might want to check that out. The weapons have like hundreds of thousands of polygons so they're totally impractical for use unless lowpoly versions are made. Hopefully the guy working on that doesn't stop half way through.

But if you leaked this like they said you did, your not going to get more models now.

Because he's asked if he was allowed to release some? What he said, the people that gave him the files, said it was fine, but not the rest so far. Which he's still been trying to ask over.

I think Instead of blowing our tops off at every little thing we "think" isn't right. We should work with what we have. The Elephant textures are in that model pack that was posted in the Halo porting thread. But I have to point out that the UVs on the obj file there are a jumbled mess and will need to be re-done. Not a huge issue I guess. (can't think of a way to insert a clever elephant in the corner pun)

The model itself is fine, and its fairly low poly, I doubt it would be much of a hindrance to a determined modder.

Great job on this guys Its awesome I don't know why everyone is fighting we are all trying to do the same thing which is getting halo ragdolls,props etc to gmod.
Finally I found this thread... I've been looking for a long time for someone who's willing to port models from Reach. Think you could port Carter and rig the model for a player model? I've been asking around for a while but for some reason I've gotten 0 results.

But I don't think you will see that happen for a while.
That's fine. Just wanted to know if you or someone you know was willing to do it in the near future. Thank you :) Also, I don't really care how many people it goes through, don't think I expect you to be able to rig it if you don't know how XD (or if it's the porting you have issues with).
