Thanks a lot scibott....but I don't have this game and so I had base files provided by EymharGB which contains 64x64 textures and I have read that tutorial due to which I was able to extract models from other games like DP and Wolverine
The game is free to play, meaning you sign up and download the client from their website or download it through Steam.

Sorry I have no internet connection or HDD space to download this game.... Thanks for advice.......
Why are some of the Civil War model downloads around 15MB and some around 2MB?
The larger ones have costume specific animations.

hey scibott how do you fix the dark textures? i tried to brighten up the image using photoshop but its a little to pixelly when comparing it to what u extracted
As I can extract the textures I can only draw the patterns and textures in low quality.
psdt: I have the UPK civil war crossbones
Umodel extracts 64x64 resolution textures, animations and game models; Ninja Ripper grabs the 128+ textures from a running Direct X source, sometimes unmodified; you open the tex####.dds in Photoshop save as .tga with Alpha Channel checked, for dark textures follow my previous tutorial.
Does UV gets disturb due to Ninja Ripper ? In TASM 2 game model have proper textures but their eyes are black.... Does it depends on environment in game ? Or it is same problem as Marvel Heroes ?
Thanks to EymharGB, for Upk and Static Model , falcon is available.... Hope Spiderman and others come out soon too...
This is how I do it.
1: Use uModel to extract the game models from their upk files.
2: Use Ninja Ripper for Marvel Heroes as texture only rip.
3: Use the Windows Explorer Preview for the Texture2D folder of my target model and match up the thumbnail of my targeted model's ripped dds, they are usually next to each other in numerical sequence.
4: Open the 64x64 tga textures from extracted Texture2D folder in Photoshop, use 2 up vertical view mode to place side-by-side comparison of the ripped dds files. Compare the colors to see if step 5 is needed.
5: If necessary alter mid-tones with the Levels adjustment to 2.34-2.40, save the modified dds as tga with 32bit and alpha channel selected.
6: Use Unreal Development Kit to open the extracted psk file in SkeletalMesh3 folder to export as fbx for use in any 3D software that can import it.

Haven't found the 128+ sized blur texture so the 64 is included, Animations coming soon.
scibott and tried your procedure but when I use the ninja ripper nothing draws me just a file format blog notes the game nothing more.
I think it's the version I have.
What should I do or something I'm doing wrong?
I may be wrong but i think as it is in dds format and may be it is unsupported so it shows file format blog maybe (I exactly don't understand the problem but a screenshot might help)

hey man i talked to the creator of umodel and he said that he is getting trouble to reverse engineer it since the game is using custom textures..............if you want to get textures from marvel heroes 2016 please use ninjaripper to rip and use the 64bit ninjaripper and inject with dx11, then zoom up to ur character(the one whos textures u want to rip) and press the desired hotkey to rip textures only..........go to the ninjaripper folder in ur game directory and open it up then sort by size..........the size of the texture should be around 1mb-4mb............if u dont see it there then it may be less
