just commenting on something that's on your profile, no need to take it out of whack.
yup. a 15 year old and 23 year old. arguing over absolutely nothing while people who are prop even younger than us are laughing like. lololol. as i said im walking away i only came back coz u said something personal to me (saying my age is personal to me) but i show it to show others not to be afraid of being young. its taken so wrongly when a kid goes on a thread or a teenager.they can be just as much use than an adult can. [editline]7th October 2014[/editline] anywhoooooooooooooooooooo. all that aside. heres some scenery models from crash bandicoot 1 with vertex colors https://www.mediafire.com/?pxuz39516zocv79 enjoy!
yes by all means, defend your age that is so personal while announcing more personal things in the process of explaining

I come back to my thread to see it flooded with arguments, it's a shame to see such bright people fighting over something of which at the end of the day, it's about Crash Bandicoot. I hope YouMadBrah does not give up on providing the Crash community with his fantastic work on his Crash Twinsanity models, after what has been said. Just remember that we're all here for one reason, and that is the resurrection of such a classic game and it's assets. Moving on, I have improved drastically on my game and should make a video update soon. There is one favor I need to ask off whoever made the models that are replicas of the PSX era models, as I may need a few for my game, and of course, you will be credited for all your hard work. Thanks guys, and stay positive.
This thread is amazing. I really cannot wait to see more progress on this. By the way. Is there any chance of these models eventually working in Gmod? Just curious. Keep it up guys :)

Although it seems to be more so for texture variation instead of an alternative to textures like in Crash. I'll try to take snapshots soon (not right now, as all my needed flashdrives with my softwares and stuff are all plugged in different computers for different purposes at the moment. Plus I'm tired from just getting off work.) Anyways, you may want to play around with adding a very minor touch of color to your light source (if you haven't already.) And another thing you might want to look into is Vertex Lighting to add just a little bit more to the PSX era style that you said you're going for.

What you have said makes a lot of sense and I will see what I can do. :D
i gather no one cares bout the crash scenery models lol
i gather no one cares bout the crash scenery models lol
They do seem useful, however it would be awesome if you could possible piece together a full level for me to work with, like Jungle Rollers. What you have given so far shows potential, but not much can be done at the moment with just a few assorted files.
i gather no one cares bout the crash scenery models lol
I'm pretty sure there's at least a few people who would make use of the scenery models, namely scene-builders.
I'm pretty sure there's at least a few people who would make use of the scenery models, namely scene-builders.
atleast somebody appreciates it :)
im trying to keep this thread alive but. has anyone seen dat crash bandicoot in second life. that is an exact replica of crash 1 model. maybe u could see that models animations and copy from that. its got really great feedback
I am also starting to think this thread is dying. We need to continue our work on colouring and texturing all of the Crash Bandicoot 1 characters, enemies and such so we can release the model pack. That was the original plan rather than going off on a tangent on fan games. Anyone still willing to carry on, or made any progress?
i can color neo cortex if you want and send him?
I think one of the 'Roos' did that already.
I think one of the 'Roos' did that already.
they released a textured cortex? i dont remember seeing it. anything else you need mate?
they released a textured cortex? i dont remember seeing it. anything else you need mate?
I'm not sure if they released it but I know they gotten quite far with it. Just waiting for them to return to this thread.
I got far in it, then I lost all my files (including the Crash) -_- Idk when I'll be able to start work on it again. It's as if my life never has time for this fun stuff anymore. Probably not even gonna be on here but for a few minutes just to type this.
Hello! I'm BlackYoshi485 from CM Forums, DSHack.org and Kuribo64.net! I'm not a noob with all this Crash bandicoot hacking things, but there is any way to rip models from Crash Bandicoot 3?

So, thought I'd dig this thread up before christmas with hopefully a request for a completed Cortex model. Has anyone been round to doing it? V7CaseyRoo, I am sorry to hear about your loss, and our loss in general, it was your work of which really showed potential.
Never heard of a blackyoshi but anywho it is nice to meet you. yes there IS a way but it will envolve A LOT of work :)
Well, can you explain me how can i rip a CB3 model? I'm working on Crash Team Racing DS, and i need the CB3 crash's model.
Well, can you explain me how can i rip a CB3 model? The creator of CrashEdit as far as I know has stopped working on the program, but if he was to carry on, it is most likely he would have implemented the feature. For now we will just have to stick to what we can do, Crash Bandicoot 1 models.
This thread has gotten depressing. I think it should be rebooted or maybe just cancelled for good. We've had trolling kids, aborted characters and with myself not relying on anyone else anymore, there really is no need for this anymore. If anyone wants to step in on the last minute before I choose to do this, you have until Christmas. It's been a fun ride.
