the instructions on that link says to use crashedit
Crashedit is used to rip the actual files to be converted into a model
i don't see an option to rip files from crash 2 or 3 only crash 1 give an export option [editline]14th May 2016[/editline] i am trying o get kimodo bros

i have found the names of Kimodo_Joe and Kimodo_Moe I know I can't export these as models in crashedit this step I don't know what "Export 1 animationframe" means exactly I don't know which are animations or which Item files im supposed to export to convert to the model Using CrashEdit, export one animationframe and the corresponding 5 items of the model that you want to export to the same directory. They must have the following names: "frame" "item0" "item1" "item2" "item3" "item4" "item5" (only if it exists)

Not to rehash old things, but I was really interested in the Crash Bandicoot 1 level models, and the link that was generously shared with us has since broken. Does anyone still have the Crash Bandicoot 1 levels textured?

This is one of the greatest threads I've ever seen. I was first so hyped and excited seeing all this energy and passion from all of its users. Everyone sharing their projects and ideas all over the place. Seeing how much everyone was advancing was amazing! But then, everything fell off. Files deleted, discusssions, problems... SO THRILLING! I just wanted to share my thoughts on this thread, Thank you. :) And also... does somebody still have all the models?

Over on Github mandude has made a branch of ughman's CrashEdit that allows for model+animation viewing (only in Crash 2 as of now) to find models easier. warenhuis made a Crash 2/3 model exporter (in... Game Maker? Well, it works lol) that can export both character and scenery models more or less perfectly. They are exported into a PLY format with vertex colouring and UV mapping, which is great. The difficult part is baking the model's materials for usage outside of modelling software. All the tools are provided (even if the process isn't very user-friendly), and the models look great. Awesome!
