You need to right click the frame files in the animation entries. Komodo Bros are from Crash 2, right? So far there's no exportation for the 2nd and 3rd games. If any of that is a little vague, it's cause I haven't done much work on this in a week or so due to working on a personal untitled Unity project while we wait to see what can or cannot be done about the exportation of a frame's per-face colors. Plus school, and also applied for a job, so my hours are getting pretty limited lately.

Hmm, are you using the latest version?
Hmm, are you using the latest version?
i have a .rar with v0.01 through v0.10
Ah, there is a much better version (0.13 I suppose), I can upload/attach it if you want.
Ah, there is a much better version (0.13 I suppose), I can upload/attach it if you want.
No need to go through the extra work of uploading. I just remembered that CoolCrash was kind enough to link me to the current version when this thread first started. http://www.mediafire.com/download/5z6dd4swzpeizg3/CrashEdit.zip This link should do the trick. With this version you can view the frames in the animations (that's where we've been extracting the models.) And also, I was thinking: Would it be possible to just use blend shapes from extracting each frame in an animation instead of rigging them? I don't know if that works in GMod... (I actually never played it. I know this is a GMod website, but I really just come here to occasionally help with minor stuff and to also study how professional studios do their models.)
i want to know. whats he doing downloading all of the versions lol. bit daft aye. im using version 10 :) of crashedit. and stupid me was using the first version for noesis which i thought was the latest. den caseyroo came along and helped me aha :p

Egh, okay well right now I have to go and get ready for school. I'll hop back on here and try to find a solution when I get back.
the same, i dont have any option to export to anything, my only options on 1 or 2 is to "duplicate entity" if i right click
That only appears in Entity Entries, try right clicking in the Frames of Animation Entries.
That only appears in Entity Entries, try right clicking in the Frames of Animation Entries.
idk what animation entries are labeled as (i only assume they are called something else, because i dont see any called "animation" anything)
idk what animation entries are labeled as (i only assume they are called something else, because i dont see any called "animation" anything)
"Old Animation Entry"
"Old Animation Entry"
dont see any that are titled that at all
Try clicking the Find button and type "Animation" then press Find Next to go to the next Animation entry. EDIT: This is for Crash 1 only, and Crash 1 NTSC-U is the most supported.
I've been gone for some time but just letting you guys know I am still active, just taken a holiday. Was meant to post an update before but forgot hahaha. Just want to say that I think Sonicwilliam has done an incredible job rigging Crash and it just goes to show that just because the models are low-poly to begin with, doesn't mean they are useless like most people like to say. Hats off to you man ;) Last thing I wanna say is thanks for everyone keeping this thread active and alive, showing true support for the Crash community :)

Oh you're exporting the scenery? Awesome! I've always wanted to fap/enjoy at one of the Crash Bandicoot levels! (specially Temple Ruins/Jaws of Darkness)
I thought about doing the scenery (since the other week I was the only one to get the colors successfully exported) But then I worried I may make too many errors in texturing it.
I thought about doing the scenery (since the other week I was the only one to get the colors successfully exported) But then I worried I may make too many errors in texturing it.
bwa. give it a try. lol. sorry if that wasn't helpful advice. honestly your there like ohhh I don't think I can do. keons advice is: bwa. give it a try
Just thought I'd bump this with my progress of Crash on the way to Liberty City in GTA IV. Looks hilarious at the moment as I have only done his head and hands yet.
That is one tuxedo bandicoot.
So, I am looking into making a game in Unity, to help with my computing and game design course at college. I have came up up with a great idea, of which is basically everything I wanted Crash Fusion to be, except this is all strictly to be like it was made for the PSX. I have not much experience with Unity yet, and little to no knowledge on coding, so I am going to learn C# and start developing as soon as possible. Here is an image of what is to hopefully come in the future: The reason I post this is to not too cornily say, I wouldn't have been able to do this without my friends on this thread, so thanks and if this progresses well, I will open up a separate thread to keep you guys updated.
If you want any help just ask because I did a fangame back in 2012. got cancelled on 2013 jan. its quite popular on youtube
