Sorry i generally don't like to request cause i try to do it my self first but from what i herd you cant port from BF4 using the BF3 method otherwise i would continue being unnoticed and yes that was my first post but no i didn't join to request stuff I joined to learn how to port my self and do all the things you folks do on here so sorry if i came across like one of those noobs who just want to reap the benefits of your guys hard work

You've been registered for a while so clearly you didn't. We're in the same boat really, I'm just hoping Luxox will tell us his secrets so I don't have to request anything either.

Some of the new vehicles would be great (chinese ones, MRAP, Pak Fa, as example) If not it's okay, I'm sure I'll get this game myself sooner or later.

I know that bodies are use 20 and 21, but what about heads, couldn't find them for 3 days after Release.

For extract full res textures use intel GPA in X64, now I need to find "how to make composite textures with the files of the game" because looks different to BFBC2 and BF3. also I need time to extract in game head models, for this I need time. all UV of the head models are in 21-22 or 20-21 (I can't remember).... watch the name of the mesh, the correct models must have the lowest number (object10 - not object 100) if you have problems with intel GPA in X64 and the game closes immediately you need to close origin (for this you only have 10 - 15 sec) use task manager for close the process. if you can't capture meshes from multiplayer try to close origin with the same previous method. (make this under your own risk)

But still you have to rip the game? Intel GPA only helps with Rip textures, it does not export meshes. And when using Ninja Reaper with a 32 bit version of the game, it just simply crashe.

I still like the game and I agree. They've optimized their meshes and textures like crazy, and added some neat new things like crazy lens flares, water, and dumbed down set-piece destruction, but besides that and some new weapon mechanics, the difference between BF4 and BF3 isn't that great. They've even said themselves, apparently so they don't "alienate" their fans.

Just no, it basically is still the same with a few modifications and not an entirely new/upgraded engine.[/QUOTE] Frostbite 3 has better lightning, textures, meshes, water movement, wind direction, wheather, improved destruction, some better particle effect, etc. But they didn´t focus on the engine, they tried to improve the BF3 gameplay (for ex. balance the nerfed and OP guns, make new gamemodes, etc.) They called it Frostibite 3 just for intimidate CoD franchise (so unnecessary)
When I try to rip with ninja ripping textures work however if I hit f10 to rip models nothing happens You can get the textures raw from a memory dump its cleaner and some are like 4089x4089 which ninja doesnt rip

Tomcatters, how are you going with these BF3 vehicles? I'm waiting for the AAV specifically. I know it's wrong thread, but I'm just asking by the way. I have a pretty nice method of getting BF3 vehicle textures to work with all the details and camouflages. Talk to me on steam.
