Off topic:I was just spamming my friend on steam chat writing spam over and over again and I eventually got tired and moved my hands in the same basic direction as before but this is what I got:

There is a swep for that, but it's dumb. All of the hands you see are the same position it makes while invisible, and when you right click to go invisible, you appear invisible in 3rd person, but not 1st person.

They're just a load of mining guys. GRN is the finest archaeology company in the HL2 universe. They uncovered Olduvai on Mars, and discovered a galactic map in the city library. That allowed the Federal Earth Coalition to expand across the galaxy through use of their highly-advanced teleporter technology.
That is, after the elite team uncovered the Illuminati that were supressing galactic expansion, and eliminated those elitist plutocratic fascists for the freedom of mankind, vortikind, and the Felan race, feline supersoldiers created by Apeture Science on board the Borealis (That wasn't the main project, though. The main project was a relatively-fast teleport.) to aid mankind in defeating the Combine.
But you're all forgeting about the BLK team! The made a Portal and brought the Combine through! And then they got someone to destroy the Citadel.
The APTR team developed a relatively-slow teleport, which teleports people across time. But it suffered a malfunction, causing many projects, such as Project Psion (psychic phenomenon becoming controllable by humans), and Project Felan (the creation of feline supersoldiers for the U.S Military), to vanish along with the Borealis. It in fact had teleported into the future, where the American Resistance attempted to seize control, but were stopped by Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance of the Eurasian Resistance.
The Borealis was later destroyed, but Project Felan and Project Psion were relocated to White Forest, where the Felan supersoldiers were created, given psychic powers, and shipped across the world to defeat the Combine forces on all 7 continents with superior psychic powers, rivalling even that of Advisors.
APTR Team rocks, and shaped the world.
