i´m gonna play pyro!
One of the times I play Pyro is if i'm on the Red team in the final stage in Goldrush, when the cart has reached the second CP. I hide in the foxhole, and Backburn all those who try to push the cart. I have to be careful not to get blown up by Demomen, though, and know when to dash for the Medium Medkit in the corner.
Hmmm... Heavy vs. Pyro, I think heavy wins medium and long range but pyro has close and maybe half of medium if he sets heavy on fire.
Why do I have a feeling he has just posed the TF2 ragdolls and spawned the gmod weapons and made it look like they were player models? Because if it is I'll go nuts.
He's not a posing god, he's not capable of that. He's a modelling god.
I batted a Heavy today as a Scout, I don't know how he couldn't have killed me.
Yesterday I took on a Heavy Medic combo as a Pyro. They got burned.
Every class is deadly, you just need to learn to use them right, but no-one can specialise in all classes. Everyone has their speciality, and everyone has their white whale.
Valve can specialise.
But in which one?
In all!
Each member of the team has their speciality. Gabe Newell says he liked the Spy.
So Valve specialises in all because the team should have at least 1 person who specialises in each class.
Touche.
I batted a Heavy today as a Scout, I don't know how he couldn't have killed me.
I remember several times where I killed a heavy with a wrench!
I take it you avoided a fisting that way?
-Bump-
I take it you avoided a fisting that way?
No, actually I came up behind him when he was trying to shoot my sentry from an angle at which it couldn't shoot back, know what I mean? Anyway, I've done it dozens of times. Wouldn't DARE do it after the updates, at least not on the PC version.

-Another bump- Good thread :D... I'm going to sleep now...
You'd end up with Heavy whipping out the Hand-Cannon, and blowing you to bits.
Hand-Cannon? Did they confirm any newweapons or are you just making something up. I'll tell ya, after the Heavy AND Pyro Updates, it's going to be next to IMPOSSIBLE to play spy.
Pyro rocks, whats the point in aim with a pyro, and i love to set fire to my team to see if they are spys.
Hand-Cannon? Did they confirm any new weapons or are you just making something up. I'll tell ya, after the Heavy AND Pyro Updates, it's going to be next to IMPOSSIBLE to play spy.
FYI, next update is Spy. Also, I was just considering the most likely Shotgun replacement. A machine-gun is a no-no, since Heavy has Sasha, and a new Shotgun would just suck arse. Heavy wouldn't get some kind of explosives, 'cause that'd be overpowered, so I assumed that a big Handgun would be the best option...
FYI, next update is Spy.
Haha. Lemme laugh, as you got owned by that hoax. Go and see teamfortress.com, and let's see which class will be udpated. Edit : you can give me "Awful Spelling" rates, let's do it !!one
FYI, next update is Spy.
Is it really? I hope you're not talking about that fake picture they disproved on the official TF2blog, [link]http://www.teamfortress.com/[/link]. If you scroll down, you'll see the article about it. What they really need for the spy update is a special sapper that can A: "Zap" any enemies in a small area, harming them. or B: For a VERY short amount of time, can turn buildings, such as sentries, against the team that built this. To counter both of these options, the spy has a limited amount of sappers it can use, of that type. The only problem I can see with that is the possibility (although unlikely) that they will switch back to the regular sapper immediately after finsihing off the special sappers.
I didn't get owned by that hoax. I am just assuming that since Spy will be a bad class after Heavy AND Pyro update, that Spy would be next in line AFTER Heavy, since Spy is in for a rough ol' ride ahead...
Exactly. It only makes since. Now if Valve were REALLY evil, they'd also update engy before Spy. Ouch!

If you scroll down, you'll see the article about it.
as much speculation can be, spy as the next update sound the most logical since we got: Medic->Support Pyro->Attack now Heavy->Defense one can asume next one will be: Spy->support Scout->Attack MAYBE Engi->Defense so by that logic spy will be the next, it also has a great chance too, since he is the less played support class and still get the order of the first ones
True, true.
Are you still working on the CoD4 models? Just asking because I read this whole topic and there's only a mention of it.
