I know, the question is why! I've listened to [u]every[/u] commentary node available while playing on my PS3, and they said that water is "expensive". What with the powerful CPUs and other advanced techonology, they could heav an entire map made of 100% pure water and then some.
I really do think Valve has underestimated the PS3, it has some amazing hardware.

Like I said, I think that Valve has mis-judged the awesomeness of the PS3. I'm not saying it's better than the other consoles, just that Valve needs to try using some the advanced technology. I'll bet you 5 buck that, if they made it, you could run Ep 0 and 1 on ths PS2.
If it can run on a PS2, with all options on high, then it isn't a next-gen game.

I doubt very very much you can run ep 1 on high on the ps2... Maybe in xbox (But I doubt with all settings in high) Also, ep 0?
