No problem. I sure hope this works out lol. We got some replies from department heads at ITT Tech. They just had a meeting yesterday to talk about which students would be good for which jobs that they were looking to place students in. Hopefully, they'll do it for less than the cheapest I have now cause I'd rather not pay this other guy $250 per model. I mean, I COULD, but I still have my last year of college to save up living expenses for lol.
Just got an update from him. He said that this is an unpolished version of the head for Kyon (minus hair of course). Anyone have any comments or suggestions before I have him continue?

i give downthumb ratings to any video where i see that retarded ass watermark in the corner. anyone remember "100 ways to die in gmod"? yep, maker got bribed, original video was removed, and now your can only find a watermarked version of it on the machinima channel. same with the guy who make "deus ex: the recut", they tried to bribe Dasboschitt, but in order to preserve his loving fanbase, and his non bland videos, with copyrighted content in them, he refused the bribe with a nicely deserved middle fucking finger.

They aren't bribing anyone. Perhaps you should learn all the details before trashing something/someone. Machinima will sometimes offer contracts to people who have made popular machinima. These contracts say that by making a video exclusive to them, you get part of the ad-revenue from that video. Having any copyrighted music is grounds for video mute/removal and multiple offenses can result in a suspended account. The Machinima YT channel used to have plenty of videos with copyrighted music, but YouTube removed the videos when they started cracking down on copyrights and suspended the account. After a few days of lawyers talking to the YT lawyers, the suspension on their account was released. They can't upload videos with copyrighted music/pictures without fear of losing the account again.
So please do your research before making another comment like that. It's not very becoming to make such wild and insulting accusations.

There's no required ratio to upload a video to the Machinima YT channel. There's not even any restrictions other than you can't upload the video to other video sites like MegaVideo, etc. and you have to have the Machinima.com pre-roll in the video you submit.
I DID mention when the YT got suspended. It was when YT started cracking down on copyright infringement.
As for losing creativity, that is ALL UP TO THEM. Humans are naturally greedy so obviously there are going to be people who upload tons of crap just for the sake of getting views to get cash. Putting everyone into that category is insulting. Many are still dedicated to making quality machinima, regardless of the views obtained. Don't generalize everyone into a single group.
I'd love for it to go back to 08 or so when there were only about 5 videos posted a day and most of it was actually decent (and no game/movie trailers). That's not gonna happen so we work with what we're given.
And I said it before and I'll say it again: COPYRIGHTED MUSIC IS AGAINST THE YOUTUBE TERMS OF USE. Dasboshit can only keep his videos up because the audio is not only small snippets, but used for parody which is very much legal. Using something like "Highway to Hell" as a soundtrack for any video, machinima or not, is ILLEGAL.
You can continue to believe whatever you want. I have no loyalty to Machinima.com at all, but I'm not going to sit back and be insulted by someone who is clearly misinformed. If you want to keep believing that, then at least take it elsewhere. This thread is about this project, not your unjustified hatred towards anyone affiliated with M.com.
-Edit- Something you don't seem to realize is that dasboshitt DOES in fact upload his videos to M.com.
-Edit again- There's also no reason for anyone to complain about music. There are tons of sites that provide free music that is under the Creative Commons license (Free Music Archive and Jamendo are two of the best). Not to mention the fact that there are already a dozen composers who have offered to compose music for machinima directors for free or as expensive as a couple bucks a song.

If the body didn't look so small and disproportionate, then I'd have given it thought, but it would still look strange even with normal textures.

I'll probably actually end up using him as Itsuki, although it depends on what kind of look he uses for him. Since Kyon has no description in the book, I just sent him a few of the illustrations and told him to use his creative freedom to come up with something an average Japanese student would do with his hair.
Everything is going good so far. Only problem was with some of the textures he made. It made the model look very plastic since he didn't use any mapping or put any kind of detail (like giving the clothes a fabric-ish texture). He's fixing that now.
