I can find the folder, just none of the files.
did you put your classic addons in the addons folder? They still go there you know.

Erm, I know this is the Sonic thread, but this is still somewhat Sonic related- has anyone ripped the Ralph or TF2 models (the racers and their vehicles) from All Stars Racing Transformed? The TF2 ones don't look like the ones in TF2 or SFM if you ask me, particularly Pyro. I'm still trying to find a quick and easy way to extract the voice files too.

I was thinking the same thing about various other racers and vehicles from both games.

Yes. Fun fact: That's his actual rigging (from the "Chest" bone) and bone structure, straight from the game. My current model-researching-and-deciphering project (Sonicdude will know what I'm talking about) is proving me well with other model ripping endeavours.
I've sent that model to Apoc Hedgie so that he can work on faceposing for him.

Nice. It'd be cool to see it ported to Brawl as well; the WIR game one currently on the Vault is alright but poorly rigged and has no facial expressions.

Yeah, that's the one- but it doesn't seem all that good of a model imo, no offense. being on DK's animations, it twists kinda weird sometimes and without facial expressions it seems a bit awkward.
Say, what tools are you using? cause I'd like to get Ristar.

Sonic Adventure's voice lines are the best. And this video proves why you should never give them to me. Ever.
Just thought I'd share with you guys:

Also, Apoc, maybe you could consider adding a new skin to the Sonic pack to remove the visibility of the teeth. I've tried it and it adds much more mouth versatility, which is really useful when you wanna do exaggerated faces that usually cause the teeth to screw up and protrude like crazy. :v:

I will do that, so long as I haven't already blown the texture limit with Super Sonic yet.
I agree with the no teeth thing, as I've requested it before and it gets annoying when the teeth come out of Sonic's mouth.
Decided to show these off.

I have another small request. If possible, could you guys somehow make the eyes look forward naturally as their default? Most the character's eyes are too far apart and it looks odd. When I use the eye poser some character's eyes go too far inward. Also I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem... but when I use the eye poser on a character, their eyes eventually reset back to default or go derp.

I would but... There's a reason why I do things a certain way, look at this image:

You may notice a problem with the Unleashed one on the right. If you don't you may have the same problem that Sonic has.
All I can say is pose responsibly.

Kill me.
EDIT: I should also say that when I removed the teeth (atleast for Knuckles) I had to edit the structure of the .vmt so that $basetexture had the actual basetexture to allow transparency, rather than that cool way you had it set up where the $basetexture was a fur/phongmap and $detail acted as $basetexture normally would.
Original:
"$basetexture" "models/apocmodels/SonicGenerations/Knuckles/chr_knuckles_body_FAL_HD"
"$bumpmap" "models/apocmodels/SonicGenerations/Knuckles/chr_knuckles_body_NRM_HD"
"$detail" "models/apocmodels/SonicGenerations/Knuckles/chr_knuckles_body_dif_HD"
"$detailscale" "1"
"$detailblendfactor" "1"
"$detailblendmode" "2"
Edited:
"$basetexture" "models/apocmodels/SonicGenerations/Knuckles/chr_knuckles_body_dif_HD"
"$bumpmap" "models/apocmodels/SonicGenerations/Knuckles/chr_knuckles_body_NRM_HD"
"$alphatest" "1"
Kind of a caveat of having the teeth invisible, just as a heads-up if you do decide to make a skin like that.
Rosy The Rascal has been added under Voltolis in the workshop section
So I was browsing YouTube and I found this:

Was the person making this ever on FP? As far as I know this wasn't released, which is a shame
Would a different Egg Carrier map, or even a model be possible?
It should be possible. Just need someone to rip the map parts.
Just thought I'd share some stupidly high-res textures I've been doing for personal use with the Sonic models. I currently only have the ones for Tails and they're only half done, but I hope to eventually do ones for Sonic and Knuckles too.
My goal is to have textures that rival the materials used in the official character renders by Sega.

I'd say it's turning out okay considering that with 2048^2 maps, I can have details like fur folicles and weaves on fabric now...
[sp]SHUT UP, I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM! 75 MB FOR TEXTURES ALONE IS TOTALLY REASONABLE!!![/sp]
Oh, and you can have this BEAUTIFUL SCREENSHOT of what I did to Generations to contrast because banana:

Gemerl isn't a model himself, however he is a PAC3 made playermodel with custom OBJ files loaded from web.
The head of it is 90% modeled by me (PHX gumball used as base), as is the torso (Sonic's torso used as base). The rest of the parts on Gemerl came from Megaman X models (Zero's alt from UMVC3) and a few from Metal Sonic. Rest is PHX stuff.
With custom static OBJ loading from web, people don't need an addon or the model clientside to see it. Except for the ragdolls.. I posed those in singleplayer

You've gotta teach me how to get a rimlight effect like that. I've been trying everything I can think of but I can't quite get that look. I've been trying to work on a texture update for the Sonic models to make 'em look more like they do in-game, so far I have the FAL-like rimlight effect, but I can't seem to get the phong shine quite right.
What sucks is that, so far as I can tell, I can't have a white rimlight and a colored phong; which is basically what FAL seems to do.

Will you make Emerl?
Maybe, I'm not sure. Was never too big of a fan of Emerl's design, but I'd consider it someday. Possibly.
:v:
Don't want to sound like requester, but is it possible to do Mighty the Armadillo somehow? Since that we have him only "target" edition... :v:
I know that his last game was in 1993, but i saw tons of Sonic-based custom models.
