no due to him messing up.
Anybody ever ripped the Chaos 0 model from Sonic Adventure 2? I've been trying, but as per usual everything keeps screwing up. I'm not even going to show a picture, poor thing looks like he was hit by a truck. I know there's already the SA1 model, but the one in 2 is a bit nicer.
Unknown ported SA2 Chaos 0 ages ago back in 2006, its really outdated and probably someone can port Chaos again with additional features.
Unknown ported SA2 Chaos 0 ages ago back in 2006, its really outdated and probably someone can port Chaos again with additional features.
Does it still exist anywhere? I need it for reasons.
Does it still exist anywhere? I need it for reasons.
I found it at the workshop. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=115475665&searchtext=chaos
I found it at the workshop. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=115475665&searchtext=chaos
But that's the Sonic Adventure version.
Does it still exist anywhere? I need it for reasons.
I thought I was the only one who made Chaos sex poses.
I thought I was the only one who made Chaos sex poses.
Good for you. This is what I want to do. I came up with this weird effect on accident and it looks like shit on adventure 1 chaos. So I want to see if I can get something working for the adventure 2 rig. The model from Adventure 1 is too pointy and stuff. I'm going to have to re-UV the entire thing, but you know...
Does anyone know how SEGA is able to make conjoined eyes on Sonic? Because from all the ported models, there's a line in between the eyes, as if Sonic has two eyeballs instead of a conjoined eyeball.
I think what they do is they have the pupal stop moving right at the border of where the other eye begins. also Eggman's hands are being moved in position for proper rigging
Okay, but how do they keep that line from being seen? Even in dark areas in all the Sonic games they still look conjoined, but in GMod, you can see the line between the eyes.
Okay, but how do they keep that line from being seen? Even in dark areas in all the Sonic games they still look conjoined, but in GMod, you can see the line between the eyes.
I don't know

It's the way the "Eyes" shader looks on models, even though the model itself doesn't have that line in its smoothing groups.
But that's the Sonic Adventure version.
No, that's the SA2 model. It looks like SA1, but the body is a little bit shorter than SA1.
I'm still trying to find a way to extract the voice clips from Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed. Can anybody kindly assist me? I could really use some of the audio.
I'm still trying to find a way to extract the voice clips from Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed. Can anybody kindly assist me? BTW, if you find a way to rip the Transformed ones, can you get the voices from the Wii Sonic games?
No, that's the SA2 model. It looks like SA1, but the body is a little bit shorter than SA1.
No actually. Excuse the crudeness of the adventure 2 example, it was the only decent example of the in-game model that I could find. The adventure 2 model is smoother, a bit fatter, and uses shells and stuff to make the water effect a little bit nicer. It's a completely different model. I'm looking to see if anyone's been able to rip it directly or something. If not, I'll try to work something together on my own.
I have some good news, Eggman 06's left hand is now fully in position for proper finger rigging. His right hand will be replaced shortly, and soon, full rigging will begin.
There is a way to extract the models from the .gma's
I found that program, but where do the workshop files go? I download models from there and they don't show up in GMod 13.
I found that program, but where do the workshop files go? I download models from there and they don't show up in GMod 13.
you have to search .gma in your garrysmod folder, and what I do ismove the files to another/new folder so it's easier to find
you have to search .gma in your garrysmod folder, and what I do ismove the files to another/new folder so it's easier to find
So it's regular GMod I'm looking for?
So it's regular GMod I'm looking for?
pretty sure sorry if any of this is confusing took me a while to figure it out
new update on eggman, there are some left over polygons/triangles/whatever you prefer to call them that still needed cleaning up. As I type, I'm doing that now.
new update on eggman, there are some left over polygons/triangles/whatever you prefer to call them that still needed cleaning up. As I type, I'm doing that now.
Gah! I though I got them all!
That's alright, I know how to get the rest.
That's alright, I know how to get the rest.
Well alright then.
All junk has been cleared, rigging on Eggman can proceed.
When this topic gets too many posts, can we call the next one Sonic 06? Has anyone ported the SA2/B models yet?
Noticed an update to the Hero and Dark packs today. What was that about?
Noticed an update to the Hero and Dark packs today. What was that about?
Bigger-version ragdolls, that's what have been added. Since some people complained about the Generations models being too small.
