I *can't* extract animations, I was wrong earlier. It *might* be doable if I had the paid version of this tool, but to hell with shelling out $40 for it when I don't even own EFT yet either.
From looking at the UV's it appears the texture for that particular grip i mentioned is on a larger diffuse. I've checked the the other weapons that have it in their images and no luck there, but i'm wondering if it's on the RSASS diffuse, that particular weapon isn't in the model dump and i am unable to check as a result. Is it possible to extract the RSASS at this time?
Anyone had a chance to pull out the basic glock and a few of the magazines? Wanted to look at textures and play around with them.
Since I don't own EFT myself, I honestly don't know. To be fully honest, I only started extracting stuff from this dump because I wanted the MPX for a personal project >.> then I figured "hey, why not see if there's anything else in here people want", since it's really not that difficult (just a serious time-suck) to extract what's here via the shitty freeware I'm using.

A friend that plays EFT described it as "an autistic amount of customization". Looks like he was right. I count... what is that, ten different component groups? Assuming each of the green arrows is one mesh group, holy shit.

Quick question(s) for you. First, are you extracting stuff from EFT itself, or are you working from the pack that Joe Shamrock uploaded (like I am)? And if you are working from the pack, are you seeing weirdness with the receiver meshes magically switching from left-handed to right-handed after extracting them? The tool I'm using to extract the meshes and textures lets you preview the asset before extracting, and so far all of the receivers I've extracted have been previewing as lefty, but once I extract 'em and open them up in Max they're right-handed. Also, for some reason *every single texture* has an alpha channel on it that renders it basically invisible. Are you seeing that too? It's not *that* big of a deal, since nuking an alpha channel takes maybe a minute, but it's odd as hell.
I used Joe pack. I haven't preview in extraction tool. Diffuse and Normal textures are translucent (i think the reason is "colorizing in engine")
Oh good, so it isn't just me getting that weirdness then, thanks :3 The preview window my tool includes has an option to remove the alpha channels on textures, and that seems to turn them into the diffuse and normal maps we're all used to seeing. I'll have a buddy take a look later and confirm my theory though, just to be sure.
Btw, this models is impossible to use, cuz to much of work needed for adequate result. Easier make your own model (if we talk about making some game). I will try to use this like "proportion reference". Finding good blueprints of guns is real problem, so I can call this "3d blueprints collection".
Hey Devil, was hoping to see further progress with this stuff as the in world objects like the MREs and whatnot would be good for other games. Any further assets extracted outside of the weapons>?
No they are transparent because they have spec and other maps in the alpha channel...

I am trying to 3D print the Shattered mask. Can anyone give me info on how to get it from game files?
I got the Shattered mask out and converted to STL but it does not have all of the detail on it. Can anyone please help explain what is needed to be done to get the other scratches and holes? Also, the mask is quite "low res". Is there a way to also fix that? My guess is that it's the normal maps that have the details you're asking about, applied over a low poly model, good textures and normals can bring it to life.

How did you extract the shattered mask? I'm trying to extract some of the armor/rigs, and I'm having trouble.

Because you trying to open XOR-ed version of bundle. Dexor it with 0x47. Newer version of Tarkov doesn't use XOR encryption.
