Interesting find. I'm not sure why they divided the resources into each map. This is gonna take a while to extract all of it.

Their wav files are encrypted I think. I can't seem to open them.

Guys on reddit found that sounds can be imported as raw files into Audacity so you can play them and convert to any other format.

Does anyone know why my preloaded files don't have the dir.vpk files like quoted above? All I have are regular .vpks which don't open in the tool.

Voice oudio seem to be weirdly pitched up when they are extracted. Nevertheless great work!
Hmm I wonder if these models will be different once the main game comes out?

to be honest that seems about standard, especially since that seems to be from those little video uplinks that appear in the upper right whenever something important happens in game. considering that little piece of the screen would be about 2 inches wide on a screen, then it doesnt matter so much. i hope the animations on characters you're actually interacting with in the campaign mode are better animated
it does seem to lag behind the audio a bit towards the end, but i'd chalk that up to problems in extraction

I imported the raw data in audacity a while ago and found some of the sounds like the titan ai and titanstates were only one channel (mono) tracks.

Yeah the audio headers have been removed or obfuscated so I can't really tell what bitrate or channel type they are it trys to find the best one according to the samples but it's not exactly great.

They are not fucked up... that's how they were rigged.. is it too hard to move them to the right place?

That works yes but very time consuming and annoying i don't get the stupid idea why respawn did the fingers like that.

They did it that way cause they probably wanted to model the interiors of the fingers (which they did) or make them fall off once the titan is too damaged idk, but when crowbar adds .ani decompiling, just import the idle and problem solved, until then you gotta move the fingers (which is easy as hell and takes about 5 minutes, just move them locally in place)

it literally took me all of 5 minutes to reposition the hands suck it up
