It's already been established that they can be used in GMod and SFM. They just require a bit of editing and recompiling to make them function properly.

No, they work fine. I just don't know shit about making IK rigs or proper VMT settings.

Can't figure out what i'm doing wrong. I haven't been able to work on these a whole ton due to my new job and the amount of hours i have gotten.
I think respawn patched my vpkrepacker I'm not exactly sure can someone else confirm it crashes when you connect to a server?

I got an IK rig working that seems to support all Titanfall character models that use the def_ bone structure. It works with the Titans (not posting screenshots since textures are broken on my part; I'm not a .vmt wizard either) and the Spectres, but that's all I'm really able to test. The pelvis DAG likes to just suddenly disappear sometimes though, so I'll release it whenever I figure out what is causing that.

It's funny that you think pointing out a Doritos mod makes you the bad guy, it just shows how shallow you're thinking. If you want to contribute, and be around here, you need to cooperate just like back in elementary school when you made the noodle art with a partner. On Topic: Good work Atlas, that looks real nice. You guys are making great progress. I've always wanted to help with porting stuff, but I'd get too distracted by all the uncooperative people. Kudos to you for still working.
If you hadn't seen it, I have a Mac, so I can't decompile .mdl files using Crowbar. So I was wondering if anyone could convert this .mdl file to something that Blender can import like .obj, .blend, etc. Or maybe just an .smd file and then I can use a blender plugin. Heres the link:

Upload all the files with that .mdl. Decompilers need all those files to work.

The model is the R-101 Carbine. And I upload all the files that were in the vpk:

Actually that looks more of what i did and i mean for L4D2, i can give you reference of the weapon model like the viewmodel and world model because the viewmodel one doesnt have some parts on the mesh and they missing for sure, so well if you have the plugin of SMD i can give you that which could be more easy.
Well i sort of reversed .bpks (xbox360 bluepoint packages) for titanfall this is good news because the 360 version of the maps are not too different from portal2's bsps so hopefully can get those loaded into SFM or even gmod.

If the model names are the same between versions would it be possible to load the BSP and then just have the high detail models and textures referenced instead?

Did you happen to fix the uv error you were having with this model. If so I would LOVE a copy of it or alternatively can you tell me the file name so that I can extract it myself, I am having trouble finding it in the vpk (probably just a noob thing):pwn:

You see the messed up UV? What is supposed to be there is what the FrameBuffer gets put on.
If anyone wants to have a crack at the pilots, feel free. Aside from extracting them from Titanfall and slightly modifying the VMT settings, I have no idea what I'm doing, so holding them isn't doing me any good. Anyway, they work in SFM, (not sure about Gmod) but they don't have an IK rig, so if anyone could make one, I'd be grateful. :)
