If the model has built-in animations, they would play just fine. That's the best I could get of titan/pilot animations but other than that, they're useless. I always thought that the titan executions first person anims were crap, but the third person animations are really nice (That one over there isn't the case though :v: )
From what I've seen, some of the Titan sync kill animations were really cool. Then again I had the guilty pleasure of watching Bayformers in theaters. Like the ones at 1:04(Ogre execution) and :28.(Atlas execution) If you could get the animations for those, plus the grunt attack animations and the dialogue in the next video that'd be amazing material for me to use. I tried putting in some of the civilians that you see dead on the street in colony, but they were acting really wierd.

No problem. By they way, all of the games models have been extracted and are already in mdl format. Theres a link to the pack a few pages back. If you look a bit farther, there are also instructions on how to make them owrk in gmod/sfm.
Okay, so I fixed the textures on the Hornets. Is there any chance of the titan fall pilots that Soul worked on being ported to gmod?
Does someone have the viewmodels and their textures? I'd rather not download 50GB worth of models. Thanks.

Can't you guys just extract the animations from the mdl? (not sure if crowbar supports them yet) but you can use Maya and the SFM maya plugins to do it easily.

However, Crowbar did recently update, so I'll check into that tomorrow.
Many animations work fine using crowbar, it's the character animations that we can't get.
Well, they use shared mdl's with the animations, the issue is that the shared mdl's can't be extracted.

If it's the former, that sounds like a similar case to what the Combine and civilian/rebel models have going for them by default, and that's usually bypassed by using the $includemodel command in the .QC and specifying a specific .MDL file as far as I'm aware.
Yes, it's the former situation. I've heard different issues regarding using $includemodel whereas either the animations don't work, or there are issues with the animations breaking when being used.
So has anyone got the Titans, and pilots working for Source filmmaker? I've seen many download links for the models but there for blender and 3ds max, not Sfm. I would extract the models like everyone else but I don't own Titanfall on the PC and I would probably fail trying to import the models anyway. If someone has got the models to work in SFM would you mind sharing a download link to the models (mainly the titans and pilots with the animations if possible)? It would help me out a lot if someone could do this.

I believe the dude that was working on them just dropped the project. sorry about the lack of progress on the titans, iv hit a bit of a roadblock and have some problems that our out of my control, ever since the July update for gmod, it only just bearly runs on my pc, I'm getting a much better one but god knows when that will be, with trying to get normal maps and glow maps working together, I have no idea how to do most of the required steps (I probably don't have any of the required programs either) i should try to find someone who knows how or I'd anyone here can help that would be great, there is also that physics bug with the right leg and arms, I should really get around to sending it to someone to get it fixed, again sorry for the lack of progress, I'll try to start it back up again
