so this is just me but can someone start working on getting models back into the game? i just want to see if its possible to do model modding.

Has anyone been able to launch the beta in offline mode and boot into a map?
I'm more interested in loading custom vscripts than models -- apologies as this is the modeling subforum, but I'm also curious to see if anyone was doing something useful of getting stuff back into the game and figured out a way to launch a map.
Also, I asked cra0kalo on Reddit but haven't gotten a response, but will there be support with the VPK Tool to add modified files and re-package a VPK?

After sound extraction I shall work on repackaging support. Can't really test much for the beta since its now over but look forward to repacking support for the final game

just pick through the pages, you'll know it when you see it. i think its either first or second maybe third page.

they are fbx format, i want to load them in milkshape 3d and make them for cs, but when i import it, its got no textures, just a plain model, i need to add them manually but cant since i dont have the actual textures

Awesome i can't wait for that any ETA on release?, also do you happen to know where the pilot 3rd person animations are or does crowbar atm just not export them?

Rigging works and everything. The way these models are setup model and texture wise remind me a lot of call of duty models.

larger height or width? because you can't really do width or your avatar would begin interfering with the page.
Are there more titan animations? I'm only seeing two when I decompile one of them. Unless the ACT mdl ones are not supported yet.

Titans use .ani files, so you'll get no animations out

If I recall, current Source does the same, kind of. A model used strictly for animation is only a MDL and an ANI file. With a bit of editing, you can get the mdl file to decompile. Does Titanfall use something similar, or did you mean it uses [I]only[/I] the ANI files?

Messing with vmt parameters to make them more SFM friendly. Changed $selfillum to $detail since that's the only way I know how to make textures lit.

I need to finish fixing the UV mapping. Seeing as how rigging is intact I can also get it in source so once I get it in source and in a reasonable state, i'll release it.
Also the helmet'd guys posted above, the helmet visor design more reminds me of star wars republic commando.

Actually one of the lead designers was mentioning that he got inspired by Star Wars films and games while making soldier models.
Does anyone know where i can get the pilot animations or are they in a .ani file? cause i don't see one in the pilots folders.
