With the AK-12's and the rails, it looks a bit weird if you attach a optic to it with the rail thing (don't know what its called) on the side.
It is kind of weird, I know, but untill I make some regular rail-mounted optics it's the only option.
Some of them work okay and just sit atop the rail, but a lot of them don't.
I see, all good!
I've spent a few days trying to come up with the words necessary to express my gratitude for this pack, but I have now realized that I will never find them. Amazing work.
After seeing all those teases on the Ports and Hacks thread, we can all finally enjoy this brilliance.
Question though, did you use any assets from Survarium? I can't tell by looking, but if you're ever looking for anything from there, I'll be happy to get it. Survarium has some nice AK family weapons and optics.
I think the Valmet in his pack is from Survarium

The entire Valmet RK-62, most of the Vepr 7.62x39, most of the Vepr bullpup, most of the Saiga and Vepr-12, some parts for the PP-19s, and the furniture for the RPK-74M.
There may be more parts I'm forgetting, but that's most of it.
Finall, I found PP-19-01 vityaz prop. Thanks!
Are the models scaled down in the pictures? In GMod they look bigger than ones in real life, but then I'm going by this picture

Is there a tool to scale them down? I did try the resizer on the workshop, but that one didn't work very well because of all the different parts in the model.
Otherwise, this is a very nice pack. Well done!
I didn't scale them down, no. Not all ragdolls are the same size or share the same proportions, so you might just be using some that have smaller hands.
On the models I use most frequently and tested these with, the grip fits fairly well in the hand.

Ok, then. Thank you.
I came.
Too late.
What on Earth is a 5.45x45mm round though, can someone educate me on this?
And Kali, may I have permission to port these models into Insurgency with full credits to Heffy and you?

It's a Russian rifle round. Pretty much every "main" Russian rifle from the AK-74 onwards uses it.
Wrong Calibre. What you're talking about is the Soviet 5.45x39mm.

Huh. Is that so?

I recall that being a slight mistake I made at one point, but going back through the files, I can't find any evidence of it remaining. Where are you getting that from?

As long as credit is given, go ahead.

I like to organise my ".mdl"s and stuff before I get to work, but I stumbled on these. Comes in Polymer, metal, bakelite and different capacities too. Did you update the file at one point?
I thought they were mislabelled 5.56mm NATO or 5.45mm M74 until I saw that all 3 had their distinct magazine models and ammunition model.
Turns out I did fix those, but the fixed models never made it into the pack because I zipped up the old versions, oops.
I'd rather not reupload the entire pack to both Workshop and Mediafire to fix something as miniscule as that, so they'll have to remain mislabeled. The 5.56x45 models and the 7.62x39 models are all correctly named, so it's fairly clear they're supposed to be the 5.45x39 versions.
Please, for the love of GOD, can someone make a MEGA link for this? I keep fucking losing the file download when my internet has a stroke, and it pisses me off.
Don't post on old threads please. Can't you just send a personal message?

If you use Firefox, try the following:
An interrupted download should still leave you with a .part file that's as big as the amount of data downloaded until the interruption. Save or rename that file, then start your download anew. You'll get a new .part file, pause the download, then delete that new .part file and restore/rename the previously saved one. If you resume your download, it might catch up on the old file and you won't have to download everything again.
I admit i haven't tested it with mediafire though.

Missing textures :/
Do NOT bump old threads please.
Missing textures :/
All of the textures are included, so just make sure you're installing it right.
Can I use some of AK parts on this pack for a mod on other game?
Ofc, I'll properly credit you Kali and Heffy since I'll be using the AK asset from the FNV mod
Just DM him instead of bumping the old thread.
